European Logistics Investment (ELI) - a dynamically developing logistics platform, together with its strategic partner Panattoni, will lease more warehouse space. Nearly 57,000 sqm will be commissioned at the Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska II facility, of which nearly 45,000 sqm has been leased to tenants Dywidag and LATEX Opony SA.
The European Logistics Investment platform – owned by Madison International Realty, Redefine Properties and Griffin Real Estate – is successfully achieving its goals and, thanks to its cooperation with Panattoni as a strategic partner, is constantly developing dynamically. The platform includes 16 distribution parks with a total area of nearly 480,000 sqm. They are located in the most important logistics regions in Poland - in Warsaw, Łódź, Kraków and in Upper Silesia, where Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska II is being built. The investment with a total area of 57,000 sqm already has two tenants, LATEX Opony SA and Dywidag, who will occupy a total of 45,000 sqm. LATEX Opony SA – one of the leaders in the tire and rim distribution industry – moved into the complex in June this year, occupying approx. 21,000 sqm as part of the first building under construction. The new location will become the company's main warehouse in Silesia. The area has been properly secured and adapted for tire storage - the building has been prepared for fire load density, fire resistance has been increased, and additional sprinklers have been installed on the premises. The next tenant is Dywidag, which in the fourth quarter of this year will occupy the entire second building of the park with an area of 24,000 sqm, where it will manufacture geotechnical, post-tensioning and cable-stayed systems. The office and social area will occupy as much as 1,400 sqm, while production will be carried out on an area of 22,500 sqm, which Panattoni will prepare for demanding technological processes and human work. The projects for both tenants will meet the requirements of BREEAM certification at the Very Good level.
„When we started our cooperation with Griffin Real Estate, we had the ambition to create a leading logistics platform in Europe. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to be present in locations such as Silesia. The province with the largest population in the country (4.7 million). We, as well as the entire market, feel the attractiveness of this region. In the first quarter of this year alone, we leased 145,000 sqm. Nationwide, in the first three months of this year, Silesia achieved a result of 560,000 sqm of space under construction and 19 percent of the national volume of lease transactions, ranking only behind the Warsaw market in both lists. This provides excellent foundations for the development of our platform”. - comments
