Developer P3 has begun construction of the final 77,630 sqm warehouse at its Poznań park. Nearly one-third of the space, specifically 25,507 sqm, has already been leased to the logistics company Kurier, part of the VAN group.
"P3 Poznań park has enjoyed great popularity among tenants from various industries for many years. In the last year alone, we have delivered and commercialized over 120,000 sqm of modern warehouse space at this location. Upon completion of the final facility, the total area of all warehouses will reach approximately 405,000 sqm, making it one of the largest investments of its kind in the Wielkopolska region. We are pleased that our long-term client – VAN group – has also recognized the potential of this location and decided to expand its business in another one of our parks." - says Magda Twarowska, Head of Leasing P3 Logistic Parks in Poland.
The facility will be built in accordance with BREEAM Excellent certification requirements. Its construction will utilize PIR core panels for more effective insulation against external factors, and the reinforced roof structure will allow for the future installation of photovoltaic panels. The warehouse will feature energy-efficient LED lighting with a DALI automatic control system, and bathroom faucets with aerators will be infrared-activated. The building will also be equipped with greywater recovery systems and an astronomical clock. The greenery planned around the facility will not require watering. The site will also include 2 electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle parking spaces. The general contractor is Atlas Ward Polska.
"We have been working with P3 Logistic Parks for many years; one of our warehouses operates at the P3 Błonie park near Warsaw. We value our existing relationship, which is why when we began looking for a suitable location in the western part of Poland, the choice fell on P3 and the Poznań park. I am convinced that this will be an equally successful collaboration that will allow us to effectively provide contract logistics services for our partners." - says Leszek Stasiński, Contract Logistics Development Manager at VAN Group.
