Panattoni begins construction of a new Built To Own (BTO) facility for the E.G.O. Group (E.G.O.), one of the leading suppliers of components for companies manufacturing household appliances. Construction of the production plant will begin in July of this year, and completion of the work is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.
The values contained in the words „made by E.G.O.” are reflected in the quality of household appliances, such as stoves, washing machines, dryers, or refrigerators, as well as industrial machines. The company has been operating in Poland since 2005 and in Łódź it owns one of the largest centers in the country producing components for household appliances. Now the complex will expand with a new production plant on Mahoniowa Street. In the facility with an area of 15,000 sq m, components for induction hobs will be manufactured.
- „We offered E.G.O. a property in an excellent location – near their existing headquarters and key business partners. At the same time, it is a location with excellent commuting options for employees. The building will be adapted to E.G.O.'s production processes – our teams are working closely together to realize an investment that enables the effective development of the company in Łódź. The plot also provides space for potential future expansion” - said
Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni. The location just 8 km from the city center provides transport connections, which enables the use of not only infrastructure but also resources of qualified staff. The facility is easily accessible both by car and public transport, and it is only 4 km from the A1 motorway. The proximity of the customer base makes this location unique from the perspective of E.G.O. Furthermore, it may create potential business synergies in Łódź itself.
The BTO for E.G.O. in Łódź is another example of Panattoni's long-term strategy of providing modern and dedicated production space for leading companies on the market. -
„Investments in Łódź are one of our priorities. We are happy that we can support the industrial development of this region, contributing to its dynamic economic growth” - added
Katarzyna Kujawiak. In the Łódź region, Panattoni has already commissioned almost 2.1 million sq m of warehouse and production space. Among the most important projects are both build-to-suit buildings, as well as multi-tenant parks and investments in the City Logistics segment. Łódź is home to such Panattoni clients as Amazon, BSH, OBI, RR Donnelley, Media Expert, Whirlpool, Flextronics, Smyk and many others. The Central European Logistics Hub on Jędrzejowska Street has become one of the most dynamic industrial complexes in Europe, with an area exceeding 630,000 sq m.
