Panattoni expands Panattoni Park Legnica for the Zero Waste concept

Panattoni is expanding Panattoni Park Legnica for the Zero Waste concept. A company specializing in the renovation of electronic and household appliances and their online sale has joined the investment's tenants. The company has leased 8,500 sqm, which it will occupy later this year. Thanks to its strategic location, it will serve customers from Western European countries.

The Go Earthwise with Panattoni concept confirms that the developer's investments are carried out in a sustainable manner in accordance with ecological certifications. Panattoni parks also provide an excellent platform for the development of companies whose operations are inherently beneficial to the environment. An example is a European company that gives a second life to electronic and household appliances and sells them online, which will occupy 8,500 sqm in Panattoni Park Legnica.

„Our tenant's activity contributes to reducing the negative human impact on the natural environment and fits perfectly into the Zero Waste idea. Recycling, material recovery, and resource consumption reduction are also key aspects of Panattoni investments, and being chosen by this type of company is the highest form of appreciation for our green revolution” – says Damian Kowalczyk, Development Director at Panattoni.

The company will occupy almost the entire one of the halls being built as part of Panattoni Park Legnica, which will be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2021. This will be the company's first Polish location and, thanks to the park's excellent location, it will allow for serving customers from many Western European markets. The facility will be adapted for permanent work and light production, and the implemented solutions will allow for efficient servicing of electronic equipment and household appliances.

Panattoni Park Legnica is located next to the S3 expressway, which will ultimately run along the entire western border of the country – from Świnoujście to Lubawka. Furthermore, the complex is located near the A4 motorway connecting the south-western and south-eastern borders. Thanks to its convenient connection to three borders, the location has become an excellent alternative to the Wrocław market and is ideal for the international operations of companies. Just this year, the complex was joined by, among others, Grupa Spread, which leased 11,000 sqm, and the facility in Legnica became the central warehouse for the company's production in, among others, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Panattoni Park Legnica is the first modern warehouse park in the vicinity of the city, which will ultimately occupy 100,000 sqm, and after the completion of the current stage in November this year, the built-up area will amount to 40,000 sqm. The park's design can be flexibly adapted to the tenant's needs, both in terms of technical specifications and the area of individual production, warehouse, and social-office rooms. The park has spacious maneuvering areas, level „0” gates, and convenient parking lots. Panattoni Park Legnica has passed environmental certification using the BREEAM method at the Very Good level.
