Panattoni, the world's most active industrial real estate developer, has finalized another production facility construction in Silesia. The developer has completed a 21,500 sqm facility for the Hager Group – a leading provider of solutions and services for electrical installations. The state-of-the-art factory in the Hager Group's portfolio will primarily be used for the production of electrical protection devices.
The cooperation between Panattoni and the Hager Group in the Silesian Voivodeship once again results in a strategic production facility. In 2015, the developer built a hall in Sosnowiec, leased by Hager, where 4 years later the company expanded by over 100 percent. Now, Panattoni has completed a factory in Bieruń in a BTO (build-to-own) formula. This is an important point for the development of Hager's operations in Poland, which will allow for increased production capacity, expansion of the company's offer, and strengthening of market competitiveness.
The scale of the project is best evidenced by the numbers: – On the occasion of our 30th anniversary in Poland, we managed to reach the result of 100 million finished products, and thanks to the new plant, we will reach the next 100 million in 10 years. This shows that the construction of the new plant is not only a milestone in the company's development but also a huge acceleration of production – says Robert Szklany, Vice President Group Manufacturing at the Hager Group.

Panattoni has once again proven to be a guarantor of the effective implementation of a modern production plant. We thank the Hager Group for their trust and partnership. We wish them further business successes, which – I am convinced – will translate into further strategic investments in the future – says
Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni. – W
e have been operating in Silesia almost since the beginning of our activity in Poland, delivering approximately 2.5 million sqm during this time. We are extremely pleased that we can participate in the incredible transformation of the region from a mining area into an industrial and manufacturing hub, serving not only the domestic market but also the European and even global markets – he adds.
As part of the project, Panattoni delivered a production and warehouse hall that occupied 16,000 sqm and a three-story office with an area of 5,500 sqm. The developer also adapted the surface for the installation of overhead cranes in the injection molding area.
The entire investment was prepared in accordance with a high standard of sustainable construction, and the facility was built in accordance with the guidelines of the BREEAM standard at the Excellent level. The energy demand will be partially covered by photovoltaic installations prepared on the roof. In the area around the factory, the developer took care of over 20,000 sqm of green areas. In addition, employees will benefit from electric car charging stations.
The new production plant is located 10 km from the Hager factory in Tychy. The investment, located about a 30-minute drive from the center of Katowice, will benefit from the advantages of the Silesian agglomeration. The proximity of the A1 and A4 motorways will allow for efficient travel in practically every direction, connecting the plant with Poland's borders, as well as allowing for efficient connections with key centers in the country.
