Panattoni, the leader of the industrial real estate market in Europe, has built and is leasing a new, tailor-made factory for Corning Incorporated, the creator and world's leading manufacturer of low-loss optical fiber. The facility, with an area of over 20,000 sq m, was built in Mszczonów near Warsaw. It has been adapted to the specific production requirements of Corning in the field of manufacturing low-loss optical fibers. The investment will help meet the growing demand for high-speed connections in Europe and surrounding regions
Panattoni, thanks to its dedicated BTS team, adapts solutions for clients and their technologies – even the most advanced ones, as in the case of Corning. The company invented the low-loss optical fiber in 1970. Now, fiber optic networks allow for the global exchange of huge amounts of data or the conducting of millions of video calls and phone calls.

We worked with Panattoni to develop a facility adapted to state-of-the-art production processes and meeting our precise manufacturing specifications - said
Corning plant manager Mariusz Bielawski. - O
ur new facility enables us to continue delivering optical fibers to our European customers at a time when demand for 5G, broadband connections, and cloud solutions is growing rapidly.
The new facility meets the parameters strictly defined by Corning regarding the environment, safety, and optimization of the production process, including a high-height production area, HVAC, and improved process services.
The realization of the technologically advanced factory for Corning Optical was commented on by
Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni: -
This project is an exciting challenge for us. Cooperation with Corning allows us to add the service of a completely new industry to our portfolio. The production of modern optical fibers requires a very specific working environment, but tailor-made solutions are our specialty, which is why we are delivering a product that meets the client's expectations one hundred percent. The excellent location near Warsaw and key roads also creates excellent conditions for further development.
The location in the Warsaw region, just about 40 minutes away from the capital's center, facilitates access to qualified staff and scientists. Also of significance is the proximity to the A2 motorway leading to Berlin and the S8 route towards Prague in the Czech Republic. Expressways and the short distance from Chopin Airport make this a favorable location for Corning Optical Communications.
Specialization: Factory. The leader of the industrial real estate market in Europe has become a specialist in the realization of production plants in recent years. Panattoni has delivered factories for many international companies such as Weber, BSH, Leviat, or Danfoss. Recently, the developer completed the expansion of an investment for a European manufacturer of hygiene products – from 26,000 to 70,000 sq m, or finalized the expansion of a plant for a global manufacturer from the automotive industry – the company Kongsberg – in Brześć Kujawski. Furthermore, Panattoni is realizing subsequent factories, including for one of the global leaders in the household appliance and electronics industry.
