Panattoni with another strategic production facility project. Reynaers Aluminium – a global supplier of aluminium profiles – is already using one of the largest and most modern production plants in the company's portfolio, which was built in Żabia Wola – 35 km from Warsaw. The investment, which also includes an impressively designed office space, was completed in accordance with high sustainable building standards and has achieved BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.
By delivering subsequent facilities, Panattoni provides space for various purposes – from warehousing and logistics, through e-commerce, to technologically advanced production plants and modern office spaces. An example of this versatility is the commissioned factory of Reynaers Aluminium - a leading European manufacturer of innovative, environmentally friendly aluminium systems for windows, doors, curtain walls, sliding systems, and sun protection.
The company will benefit not only from over 31,000 sqm of industrial hall, but also from modern office space of approx. 1,200 sqm, designed by the architectural firm ARCH-DECO from Gdynia. The spaces were prepared with employee comfort in mind in terms of acoustics, air quality, and access to daylight. The investment area will include over 37,200 sqm of green areas.
“At Reynaers Aluminium, rigorous quality control at every stage is the foundation of the production process, and the key to effective operations is a production and warehouse building tailored to the business. We are pleased that we managed to deliver a facility that will work perfectly for the company's processes, while meeting high requirements in terms of ecology and energy efficiency. A demanding but successful implementation is also a brick added to the green revolution of the entire industry, because Reynaers Aluminium products play an important role in transforming the real estate market towards sustainable construction and reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere” – says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni.
Four technological lines will operate in the new factory: three painting lines and a profile anodizing line. For their needs, the company has implemented a Demi Station team producing demineralized water, as well as a WWT wastewater treatment plant. Environmentally friendly chromium-free technology will be used in the production for the operation of painting lines and the anodizing line. Part of the energy demand will be met by photovoltaic installations on the roofs of the facilities. In addition, heat pumps will be used for heating purposes in the office building. The investment will obtain environmental certification in the BREEAM system at the Excellent level.
The Reynaers Aluminium factory is located by the S8 expressway. The proximity of this route will allow reaching the center of Warsaw in about 30 minutes, and also ensures a good connection of the facility with key centers in the country.
