Panattoni has delivered the first class A warehouse facility in Żory. Nearly half of the space from the initial 36,500 sqm has already been leased to the first users. In February, cargo-partner spedycja sp. z o.o. will move into the facility, followed by Piast Cargo and a tenant from the food industry in March. Ultimately, Panattoni Park Żory will have 84,000 sqm of space. The investment is being developed in a strategic location in southern Poland, near the Czech border.
Panattoni has completed the first of two buildings of the Panattoni Park Żory distribution center with a planned area of nearly 84,000 sqm. The 36,500 sqm built represents the only offer of modern warehouse space in the Żory region and already has its first tenants. Joining cargo-partner spedycja sp. z o.o., which signed a lease agreement for nearly 7,000 sqm as early as March last year, are now further companies. These are Piast Cargo with 2,700 sqm of leased space, and a company from the food industry with 5,500 sqm leased. Both tenants are expanding their operations, and thanks to their presence at Panattoni Park Żory, they are gaining modern class A warehouse space. The park itself is adapted not only for warehousing and storage processes but also for light manufacturing. – „Demand for top-class warehouses is systematically growing, and we are observing this also in Żory, where we have initiated this market. Class A warehouse spaces meet not only specific technical requirements, such as hall height or LED lighting, but also the highest ecological and energy standards, e.g., BREEAM. This, in turn, translates into lower operating costs and builds the image of a socially responsible company” - says Justyna Kononowicz, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni.
Panattoni Park Żory consists of two warehouse halls with a total area of nearly 84,000 sqm, located in southern Poland right next to the DK 81 national road, just 30 minutes from the A1 (below the Sośnica junction) and A4 motorways, as well as in the vicinity of the Jastrzębie-Żory Subzone of the Katowice Special Economic Zone. Thanks to this, the investment is situated in a strategic location, near the Czech border, and serves as an alternative to the warehouse space market in Ostrava.
