Panattoni has opened a DSV Solutions logistics center in Skarbimierz

Panattoni has completed the construction of a BTS logistics center for DSV Solutions in Skarbimierz. The facility covers an area of 8,260 sqm. The warehouse section (7,500 sqm) has been divided into 3 segments – the ambient zone stores packaging and production-related materials, while the other two house warehouses for chocolate and for gum and candy – these products are delivered from the nearby Mondelēz International factories. The investment meets HACCP requirements, i.e., the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point system. Additionally, it has been equipped with modern temperature control technology using pyrometer mapping – the devices provide information on temperature and air conditions. This allows for remote monitoring of parameters, as well as maintaining a constant temperature between 10 and 20 degrees and 65 percent air humidity. Furthermore, for the needs of the operations, the hall height was increased to 12 meters, and the floor load capacity is 8 tons per square meter. The tenant will also benefit from 11 docks. In addition to the warehouse space, DSV Solutions has gained access to 225 sqm of office space.

The project in Skarbimierz was full of challenges, which included: advanced technology, a planned short delivery time, and the additionally introduced state of epidemic. However, this did not prevent the delivery of the finished logistics center on time, i.e., at the beginning of April this year. „Our tripartite cooperation with DSV Solutions and Mondelēz International is a display of professionalism. In the face of the pandemic and the resulting restrictions, we have shown that we can also handle difficult situations perfectly. We delivered the facility on time, and the client started logistics operations 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
