Panattoni increases the supply of warehouse space in
Bielsko-Biała, an industrial area on the border of the Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. The developer has started construction of another park in the region - Panattoni Park Bielsko Biała IV. Three facilities with a total area of 96,000 sqm are being built, and each of them will be completed later this year. The entire project will be executed in accordance with the sustainable Go Earthwise with Panattoni concept, which will result in BREEAM certification at the Very Good level. Another park in
Bielsko-Biała is a response to the unflagging interest of tenants – the three other complexes in the region have been fully leased.
The capital of the Podbeskidzie region has enormous business potential, thanks to its location in the industrial area on the border of the Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. The creation and development of enterprises increases the demand for class A production and warehouse space, which Panattoni provides as one of the few developers. So far, the company has completed three parks occupying a total of approx. 134,000 sqm, which have been fully leased, as well as the first smart factory for GE Energy Management in Europe (45,000 sqm). Now, the developer announces an increase in warehouse facilities by another 96,000 sqm thanks to Panattoni Park Bielsko-Biała IV. The investment consists of three buildings, including one facility prepared to the individual order of a tenant that provides technology and components for the automotive world. The entire park will be built this year and will be perfect for supporting production for key industries in the region, including agricultural machinery and automotive.
"The automotive industry plays a very important role in the strong economic and industrial position of Bielsko-Biała, but the city's main strength is the pro-investment policy of the authorities. Such an approach has led to the fact that the capital of the Podbeskidzie region can boast the second-largest number of registered companies per 1,000 inhabitants in the entire voivodeship. There are over 26,600 enterprises operating in Bielsko-Biała, and by providing further warehouse and production space, we support this rapid development" - says
Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni -
"When we entered the city with our first investment, warehouse facilities in Bielsko-Biała practically did not exist. We are pleased that along with our development in the region, both the market and the entire city are developing – not only in economic and business terms, but also in terms of infrastructure, and even culture and sports."Bielsko-Biała and its metropolitan area create ideal conditions for distribution and trade for the Central European market, which results from the district's location at the intersection of international transport routes leading to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. However, this is not the only advantage of the developer's new investment. Panattoni Park Bielsko-Biała IV is being built in the immediate vicinity of the S1 expressway, the section of which currently under construction between Mysłowice and Bielsko-Biała is part of the international Gdańsk – Vienna connection. Furthermore, the road will ultimately provide a connection between the A1 motorway and the Slovak border in Zwardoń. Panattoni Park Bielsko Biała IV is perfectly located in relation to both the Silesian agglomeration and Kraków, which will significantly facilitate the employment of specialized workers.
Panattoni Park Bielsko-Biała IV is a complex of three class A buildings with a target area of 96,000 sqm, adapted for both storage and production. The facilities have been designed so that their modules can be shaped flexibly, in accordance with the individual needs of tenants. The investment in
Bielsko-Biała will be built in accordance with the Go Earthwise with Panattoni concept, under which every park delivered by the developer is subjected to BREEAM certification at the Very Good level.
