Panattoni is building another park in Bydgoszcz

Panattoni is building its fourth park in Bydgoszcz. The new complex will ultimately consist of three buildings with a total area of over 110,000 sqm. One of them will be entirely occupied by Belma Accessories Systems, a Polish company belonging to the Kurkus Holding capital group.

Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz IV is being built in the town of Lisi Ogon near Bydgoszcz, in the Białe Błota municipality. The first of the facilities – with an area of 62,000 sqm – will be ready as early as the second quarter of this year. The next one, with an area of 20,500 sqm, is being built in a BTS formula and will be entirely occupied by Belma Accessories Systems (BAS), a company specializing in the production of technically advanced metal structures. The building will be completed at the turn of the second and third quarters of this year. Construction of the last facility - with an area of approx. 30,000 sqm - will start soon.

This is yet another Panattoni investment in the Bydgoszcz region. So far, the developer has created over 265,000 sqm of distribution and warehouse space here – as part of parks and BTS facilities. - „Bydgoszcz is emerging as one of the leaders among new logistics markets. It is located halfway between the ports in Gdańsk and the logistics hub in Łódź. It also lies on an important route from Warsaw to Szczecin (S10 road) and in close proximity to the S5 road, which will connect Bydgoszcz with Olsztyn and the A1 motorway, as well as with Poznań and Wrocław on the other side. Bydgoszcz is benefiting not only from the expansion of roads and motorways, but also from favorable demographic conditions. The Bydgoszcz-Toruń area is inhabited by 2 million people, which significantly facilitates the recruitment of employees” – explains Andrzej Spiesz, Development Director, Panattoni.

These very advantages of Bydgoszcz have long been appreciated by one of the park's first tenants - the BAS company. In the building being prepared for it, the warehouse section will occupy 12,000 sqm. Nearly 7,000 sqm has been allocated for production, and approx. 1,600 sqm for offices. The facility will additionally be equipped with compressor rooms and forklift charging stations.

"Our company is developing intensively, hence the decision for a new distribution center. We were keen on a location on the western side of Bydgoszcz, as our factory is located here. We are therefore benefiting from the synergy of shortening the supply chain between our machine park and the new distribution center. We have been operating in the region for over twenty years and are one of the larger employers here. From here, we also serve our clients, including foreign ones" – explains Piotr Ślużyński, President of Belma Accessories Systems.
