Panattoni is continuously expanding its portfolio of urban facilities in Warsaw. The company has started construction of City Logistics Warsaw IX at the intersection of Utrata and Zabraniecka streets in Targówek Fabryczny, and the investment value will amount to 19 million Euro. Half of the space will be occupied by Inter-Mlecz – a distributor of major food brands, which will smoothly relocate its operations from a nearby location. MAXON - a residential and commercial real estate agency with 34 years of experience on the Polish market - took an active part in the leasing process.
This year, Panattoni will exceed 150,000 sqm and approach 200,000 sqm of industrial space delivered as part of the City Logistics segment in Warsaw. The versatility of urban facilities attracts dozens of industries and types of business – from logistics, through e-commerce, production, and services to laboratories. The potential is confirmed by the company Inter-Mlecz. The enterprise has leased 6,500 sqm within City Logistics Warsaw IX, the construction of which has started in Warsaw's Targówek, on Utrata street. The distributor of major food and dairy brands – as part of the facility, will use, among others, freezers and cold stores. The location of the park with a target area of 13,000 sqm will ensure efficient communication and car connections with the city center.
-„The possibility of creating rooms with a specified temperature regime and the efficient relocation of operations from a nearby facility turned out to be key advantages of Panattoni in the context of cooperation with Inter-Mlecz. Once again, we confirm that our space can be adapted to clients from dozens of industries, and City Logistics facilities are the best proof of this versatility. It is precisely in this segment that we can clearly see that our projects are no longer just warehouse facilities, but diversified business platforms, combining various activities and emerging in attractive locations – with excellent access to the client and the employee” – says Karolina Przygoda, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni.
Right-bank Warsaw with unflagging potential. By implementing City Logistics Warsaw IX, Panattoni once again confirms the attractiveness of right-bank Warsaw. The developer, among others, completed the largest investment in the segment in Poland in Annopol – City Logistics Warsaw IV, which occupied nearly 40,000 sqm. One of the facilities was entirely leased by the company TRUMPF Huettinger, which will serve, among others, markets in the USA, Japan, Korea and China. The park will also be used by, among others, Coci E-motion – a Polish manufacturer of electric bicycles.
Half a million exceeded. Six years after launching the City Logistics project, Panattoni already has a portfolio exceeding 550,000 sqm throughout Poland. The developer's facilities are chosen by leaders of many industries, including e-commerce and e-grocery, HoReCa, pharmaceutical and cosmetic, logistics or food. There are also increasingly numerous projects for manufacturing companies, and the growth in interest is driven by the nearshoring trend, i.e., locating production, distribution and warehouses closer to the final recipient. Increasingly, companies from the High Tech sector are also opting for City Logistics, as they appreciate access to a qualified employee, as well as the flexibility of the space, allowing for the location of showrooms, laboratories or research & development departments in the building.
