Panattoni Park Kraków North with its first tenant

Panattoni is developing another complex in the region of the capital of Małopolska – Panattoni Park Kraków North with an area of 55,000 sqm. The investment already has its first tenant. It is Trivium Packaging - a global leader in metal packaging production, which at the beginning of 2023 will move its existing chemical packaging production to the leased area of 21,000 sqm. Panattoni is approaching 200,000 sqm delivered in the Kraków region.

Panattoni is step by step expanding its portfolio in the region of the capital of Małopolska. Following the completion of Panattoni Park Kraków East II with an area of 20,000 sqm last year, this time the developer has started construction to the north of the former capital of Poland, in the vicinity of the S7 expressway currently being finalized. Panattoni Park Kraków North will occupy 55,000 sqm within two buildings. Trivium Packaging will use over 20,000 sqm, benefiting from modern warehouse, production, and office space. The company will move its existing chemical packaging production to the Małopolska facility and will start using the new investment at the beginning of 2023.

"The Kraków market, although significantly smaller than the largest ones in Poland, can also boast international potential, which is confirmed by the investment for Trivium Packaging. After all, nothing confirms the quality of a given location like a global company with vast experience and knowledge of markets making it a center of its international operations. Panattoni has delivered approx. 160,000 sqm in the region, and the demand is constantly growing, which is why we are calm about the future of this market" – says Filip Noworól, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni - "Interest in the new facility is also a confirmation of how important the construction of the S7 expressway is for the development of the region – especially its northern part."

The attractive location of Panattoni Park Kraków North is one of the key arguments that decided on this production location for Trivium Packaging. The complex is being built near the E77 European route. Furthermore, within a radius of less than 100 km, there are two international airports – Kraków-Balice and Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice. For operations in Poland, the proximity of the S7 expressway is crucial - which will ultimately run from Gdańsk almost to the southern border, as well as national road no. 44, which connects Kraków with, among others, Silesia.

Panattoni Park Kraków North will ultimately occupy 55,000 sqm within two buildings and will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level, thanks to, among other things, solutions in the field of energy efficiency and wellbeing. The modern space will be prepared for the potential operations of representatives of dozens of industries and sectors, including logistics, automotive, and FMCG. Appropriate design of the facilities will allow for their adaptation to warehousing, production, or food logistics processes. The proximity of international and national express routes will enable operations from the park both in Poland and throughout Europe.
