Panattoni Park Rybnik to be built on 40 hectares

Panattoni has purchased investment land in Rybnik with an area of 40 ha. This is the result of an open tender announced by the City of Rybnik, which was concluded on March 24 of this year. The developer intends to build a modern warehouse and logistics center on the purchased land - Panattoni Park Rybnik.

The implementation of the investment will take place in stages – the start is planned for the second quarter of next year. At that time, the developer will begin the construction of 50,000 sqm of modern class A warehouse space. The facility will be built in accordance with the guidelines of the sustainable development concept, to finally go through the environmental certification process using the BREEAM method at the Excellent level.

"Acquiring such a significant investor for an area of 40 hectares gives the city a strong impetus for further development. Within a few years, a large economic area will develop, where many people from the entire Rybnik agglomeration will find work" – says the mayor of Rybnik, Piotr Kuczera. - "The conclusion of the tender is the result of preparations and work done by the city in recent years. I naturally declare my willingness to cooperate with the investor; we will certainly communicate with Panattoni about the next stages of the investment's implementation."

Panattoni Park Rybnik will allow for the conduct of logistics processes – both warehousing and light production. The investment will be built right next to DW 935 (the Rybnik section of the Racibórz – Pszczyna Regional Road), near the A1 motorway. The area will be connected through the construction of a new road section to one of the junctions at DW 935.
