Panattoni is expanding a factory for specialized telecommunications systems within Panattoni Park Szczecin I. The developer is adding another 24,000 sqm to the existing 32,000 sqm. Thus, by June of this year, the logistics and industrial complex will be 80 percent complete, and by the end of the year, Panattoni intends to start the implementation of the final phase of the park with an area of 42,000 sqm, thereby finalizing the entire investment with a planned area of 220,700 sqm.
The developer is carrying out the expansion of a production plant operating within the complex that manufactures specialized electronic components, network solutions, and telecommunications systems. To the existing approx. 32,000 sqm, Panattoni is adding another 24,000 sqm, including 21,000 sqm of production space and 3,000 sqm of social and office space. The ongoing expansion is almost entirely intended for permanent work, which is why the developer will ensure not only adequate lighting (including natural light) but also high air exchange parameters. The building's structure is being prepared for demanding technological installations, including 8-ton overhead cranes. The well-thought-out design and execution of the facility give the client the greatest possible flexibility for production operations in the future, even when introducing potential changes. Completion of the work is scheduled for June of this year, thanks to which Panattoni Park Szczecin I will reach an area of over 180,000 sqm (80 percent of the planned total).
„Szczecin is a phenomenon on the warehouse map of Poland. It is a relatively young market that has already become not only a gem in the eyes of tenants but also of investment funds whose goal is to build diversified logistics portfolios. Proof of this is this year's purchase of Panattoni Park Szczecin II by one of the Asian funds” - comments Dorota Jagodzińska – Sasson, Managing Director at Panattoni - „Panattoni's investments in Szczecin guarantee the shortest transport routes to major cities in Germany and northern Poland. Szczecin also has direct rail connections with the largest cities in Europe, as well as the deep-water Port of Szczecin-Świnoujście, which, together with Świnoujście, forms one of the largest universal port complexes in the region”.
Panattoni Park Szczecin I is a modern distribution center with a planned area of nearly 220,700 sqm within 7 buildings. Each of the facilities is equipped with loading docks, ground-level entrance gates, as well as spacious maneuvering areas and additional parking spaces. The park's area can be adapted to the individual needs of clients from various industries, both logistics and production. However, this is not the only advantage of the park - the investment is located just 7 km from the „Szczecin Dąbie” junction connecting the S3 expressway with the A6 motorway and near national road No. 10. The strategic location ensures excellent connections with key cities in Poland and Germany. There is also a railway station in the immediate vicinity of the park.
