„Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska IV is a facility located in the very heart of the Silesian agglomeration – in the region of our greatest activity, which enjoys unflagging interest from investors and tenants. We are proud that Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego has recognized the potential of the new project in Ruda Śląska – a loan of 16.5 million EUR will allow us to efficiently deliver modern warehouse space that meets the highest standards of sustainable construction” – comments
Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni. The new facility will be ready in October of this year. It will obtain environmental certification at the BREEAM Excellent level, and the installed photovoltaic panels as well as other energy-saving solutions will allow for a significant reduction in primary energy consumption. The investment site has already undergone revitalization, and the local ecosystem will be strengthened by the planting of trees and shrubs. As part of the investment, Panattoni will also modernize local road infrastructure to increase safety and traffic flow.
To date, the developer has delivered 2.7 million sqm of space in the Silesian Voivodeship, with over 200,000 sqm currently under construction. The region's popularity is primarily determined by access to a qualified workforce and excellent transport infrastructure.
The location of Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska IV in the center of the Silesian conurbation and close to the A1 and A4 motorways allows for efficient domestic transport, connecting the park with such hubs as Wrocław, Kraków, Łódź, Toruń or Gdańsk. Furthermore, both arteries provide access to borders: the Czech border in the south, the German border in the southwest, and the Ukrainian border in the east, which creates enormous international potential.
