Panattoni secures financing for park in Zgierz

Panattoni has obtained bank financing for Panattoni Park Zgierz. A loan of 23.3 million euros was provided by PKO Bank Polski.

- „In the Łódź market – in the logistics heart of Poland – we have already delivered over 2.2 million sq m of industrial space, which is one of the largest volumes in the country. The demand for modern class A space in the region remains very high, which is why we thank PKO Bank Polski for supporting another of our projects. Due to its excellent location near major transport routes, Panattoni Park Zgierz has enormous potential for logistics and distribution on both a national and international scale. The project will ultimately reach nearly 160,000 sq m of space, which will allow for the conduct of diverse processes: from warehousing and logistics operations to production” – says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Zgierz is a modern class A logistics center which, due to its central location right next to the most important transport arteries, guarantees excellent conditions for the distribution of goods to both the domestic and international markets. The location directly by provincial road no. 702 - just 2.5 km from the A2 motorway junction and 13 km from the Stryków junction, through which the A1 and A2 motorways run - ensures efficient connections with all major centers in the country. The region's capabilities as a key transshipment hub have been further strengthened by the new S14 expressway. The proximity of Zgierz and Łódź means good access to a qualified workforce.

The investment is being carried out in stages, and the first of these – with an area of 52,900 sq m – is completed and occupied by three tenants. Spaces of 21,800 sq m and 3,700 sq m were taken by two companies from the logistics industry, and 8,600 sq m was leased by a leading plant producer and distributor.

The complex will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. The project includes a number of measures, such as strengthening the roof for the installation of photovoltaic panels, implementing water and energy-saving systems, and applying solutions that support the well-being of users.
