Panattoni secures financing for TRILUX factory in Świdnik

Panattoni has secured financing for the construction of a factory for TRILUX, a global lighting expert specializing in ecological and technologically advanced B2B solutions. A loan of 18,300,000 euros was provided by Alior Bank. 

Panattoni has already delivered approximately 4 million sqm of build-to-suit (BTS) space in Poland, which accounts for nearly 30% of the total volume completed in the country. This translates into vast experience in projects tailored to the requirements of specific clients. Now, the developer is building a production and development facility for TRILUX in the Świdnik Economic Activity Zone, the construction of which will be financed by a loan from Alior Bank. Completion of the facility is scheduled for June of this year.

It will be of strategic importance for the company's international expansion – it will allow not only for an increase in production capacity, but also for the streamlining of logistics and the development of new products, to ultimately become a key hub in this part of the continent. Our role is to deliver a perfectly tailored facility, in this case additionally in a very short time. Panattoni has specialized in build-to-suit production facility projects, which is also recognized by financial institutions. We thank Alior Bank for providing financing for an investment that will contribute to the development of the entire region – about 250 people will find work in the new facility" – says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.

The factory in Świdnik will have an area of 23,000 sqm and will be in line with the sustainable development strategy of TRILUX. Shortening transport to European customers will reduce the carbon footprint, and Panattoni will ensure standards related to sustainable construction. The building will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.

The TRILUX Group has six production plants in Europe and Asia, and has been present in Poland since 2004. The company offers "smart" lighting solutions in the B2B model dedicated to office buildings, industrial, commercial, educational or healthcare facilities, but also effect lighting, which is used in architecture both outside and inside buildings.
