Panattoni starts construction of an industrial park in Będzin

Panattoni is starting the construction of a new industrial park in Będzin. The first phase of the investment has already begun and will be completed in September – it involves the construction of a speculative warehouse with an area of 27,500 sqm. The total area of the park will be 87,500 sqm.

Panattoni Park Będzin is a response to the dynamically growing demand for modern industrial space in the region. The first stage of the investment is being built with a wide range of processes in mind – from logistics and light production to e-commerce. The warehouse has been designed with a potential cross-dock function in mind, which makes it attractive for various business activities.

- „The decision to build in Będzin was dictated by the success of our investments in neighboring Czeladź and Sosnowiec. This testifies to the great potential of the market in this area and our commitment to its further development" – comments Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni. The developer has already completed numerous industrial facilities in Gliwice, Sosnowiec, Katowice, Mysłowice, Bielsko-Biała, Ruda Śląska, and Czeladź, delivering over 2.6 million sqm of space in the Silesian Voivodeship. Currently, another 207,000 sqm remains under construction.

- „Investors value the Silesian Voivodeship for its access to qualified staff and extensive transport infrastructure, which connects the region with key centers in the country and Central Europe. Other advantages include dynamic social development and a research and development base, with numerous universities and research institutions, which fosters innovation and the development of new technologies. It is here that projects shaping the future of industries such as e-commerce, automotive, or IT are created, attracting talent from all over the country and abroad. These and many other factors mean that we are dealing with a region with unique investment opportunities, combining industrial tradition with a modern approach to business, innovation, and sustainable development. Thanks to this, it constantly maintains its position as a key economic hub in Poland and Europe” – adds Marek Dobrzycki.

Panattoni Park Będzin will undergo environmental certification using the BREEAM method at the Excellent level. The roofs of the warehouses will be reinforced for the installation of photovoltaic systems. A wide range of pro-ecological solutions will contribute to reducing energy and water consumption, which will consequently lower tenants' operating costs. The developer will also provide numerous amenities for employees, including modern office spaces, green relaxation zones, infrastructure for cyclists, and electric vehicle charging stations. It will also take care of the biodiversity of the investment.
