Panattoni announces another investment just outside Warsaw. On a 1.9-hectare plot at the intersection of the S7 and S8 roads, just a few kilometers from the airport, City Logistics Warsaw Airport II with an area of 9,000 sq m will be built. Construction of the park will start as early as this August.
Logistics Warsaw Airport II will be located just 6 km from Chopin Airport, right next to the Opacz junction. It connects the S7 and S8 expressways and is part of the southern bypass of Warsaw. The park with a planned area of 9,000 sq m already has its first tenants – an office supplies distributor and an aircraft manufacturer.
Undoubtedly, the attractiveness of City Logistics Warsaw Airport II is determined by its location. The new facility will be located right at the administrative border of the capital. „This will significantly facilitate the distribution of goods at the final stage of the so-called „last mile”. The location of the warehouse provides immediate access to excellent road infrastructure, new exit routes from/to Warsaw, the airport, and a large pool of highly qualified employees” – says Robert Dobrzycki, CEO Panattoni - „Warsaw is not only the largest and most attractive logistics market in Poland, but also in all of Central and Eastern Europe”.
City Logistics Warsaw Airport II will be a modern facility equipped with 16 loading docks. Like every new Panattoni investment, it is subject to BREEAM certification at the „Very Good” level. The logistics center will be located near the international Chopin Airport (approx. 6 km). Its huge advantage is the nearby Opacz junction, which provides ideal connections both with the center of Warsaw and the entire country. The junction is part of the southern bypass of Warsaw at the intersection of the S7 (Tri-City - Kraków) and S8 (Wrocław – Białystok) routes.
