Panattoni is finalizing another tailor-made project in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The Vita Group – Europe's largest supplier and manufacturer of polyurethane foam – will utilize 8,000 sqm in a BTS (built-to-suit) format at Panattoni Park Żary as early as the second quarter of 2023.
With a portfolio of over 100 projects in Central Europe, Panattoni's BTS division is the most experienced of its kind in the region. In recent years, Western Poland and the Lubusz Voivodeship have become a hub for “tailor-made” investments, serving as a center for the international operations of many companies due to their proximity to the German border.
The Vita Group will benefit from this excellent location in the second quarter of 2023, moving its operations from one of its existing facilities to Panattoni Park Żary. The park is located near the E36 route, providing a direct connection to Berlin. The facility will be adapted, among other things, for foam processing for the furniture industry, and the developer will ensure above-standard fire safety measures.
“The location in Żary fits perfectly into our strategy and will allow us to effectively support our development in the region. From the new facility, we will efficiently serve both the Polish and German markets,” says Wiesław Pacyna, General Manager, Vita Polymers Poland sp. z o.o., adding: “Thanks to the highest quality space provided by Panattoni, we will ensure a very high standard of work for all users of the facility. Wellbeing and sustainable construction solutions are a huge asset of this cooperation.”
“With the project for The Vita Group, the town once again confirms its enormous potential for industry. In Żary, the company Syncreon is already operating in a tailor-made facility by Panattoni, utilizing a modern electronic equipment repair center. Successful investments may be a harbinger of further BTS projects right here,” says Maciej Zawada, BTS Development Senior Manager at Panattoni. “It would be difficult to utilize the enormous potential of the Lubusz region and all of Western Poland without the support and commitment of local authorities. The Mayor of the Żary Municipality and other officials perfectly understand how attractive this place is for business, which is why they create an environment that is maximally conducive to its development. Cooperation with such partners is a great pleasure, and I wish every municipality in Poland such an approach,” adds Marek Foryński, BTS Managing Director, Panattoni.
Panattoni Park Żary will ultimately occupy 15,000 sqm, of which 8,000 sqm is being developed in a BTS format for The Vita Group. The investment is being built just 30 minutes from the German border, near the European E36 road, connecting the Lubusz Voivodeship with Berlin. Furthermore, the park will be only 2 hours away from the Czech border. The investment will be located within the Żary Municipality Investment Zone, which makes it even more attractive to the client.
