Panattoni will start construction of a new park in the Silesian Voivodeship in December – Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V. The investment will ultimately include two buildings with a total area of over 52,000 sqm. The first tenant is the company Hebe, for which a distribution center will be prepared within the facility in a BTS formula.
Construction of the first hall with an area of over 33,000 sqm will begin in December, and its completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025. In the future, a second building will be constructed, which will count nearly 19,000 sqm.
The park already has its first tenant – the Hebe drugstore chain. The company, belonging to the Jeronimo Martins Group, has leased 22,000 sqm for 10 years.
- „Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V is another step in the implementation of our development strategy in the Silesian Voivodeship, which enjoys enormous interest among key market players. We are very pleased that Hebe has chosen our location for its distribution center, which will contribute to the further business development of this brand in Poland. The space for Hebe will be tailor-made and will include a number of specific solutions to improve logistics processes” – says Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni.
The Hebe distribution center will include, among other things, a technologically advanced pick-tower mezzanine, internal transport equipment increasing productivity and work ergonomics, as well as comfortable social facilities.
Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V has been designed in accordance with the highest standards of sustainable development and will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level, which for tenants means lower operating costs and a reduced carbon footprint. The park will use solutions including those limiting energy and water consumption, leak detection systems, energy-efficient lighting, and electric car charging stations. The roofs of the halls will be reinforced for the installation of photovoltaic systems.
A huge advantage of the park is its location. Panattoni Park Sosnowiec V will be in a strategic location – just 2.2 km from the S1 expressway and 12 km from its junction with the A4 motorway, which provides excellent access to the main transport routes in Poland. The investment is only 16 km from the center of Katowice, 19 km from Katowice Airport, and the distance to the Polish-Czech border is only 84 km.
