Panattoni to build an additional 70,000 sqm in Zgierz

Panattoni is building another 70,000 sqm phase of Panattoni Park Zgierz. A leading drugstore chain will occupy 50,000 sqm, for which the complex located in central Poland will become a key distribution center. After the expansion, the park will reach 120,000 sqm.

This is a strategic cooperation that enables the joint raising of logistics standards and contributes to the development of the entire region" – said Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni.

The logistics space for the drugstore chain will be adapted to high safety standards required for the storage of hazardous materials (ADR), such as alcohols, deodorants, or household chemicals. The building will be equipped with advanced fire protection systems, including in-rack sprinklers and additional smoke extraction and ventilation systems.

Panattoni Park Zgierz is a modern class A logistics center, located just 2.5 km from the A2 motorway junction and 13 km from the A1 motorway in Stryków. It enables efficient distribution to the domestic and international market, and the proximity of Łódź and Zgierz guarantees access to a qualified workforce. The facility will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level, which confirms its sustainable nature and the use of ecological solutions.
