Panattoni will develop 65,000 sqm as part of Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate and will exceed one million sqm of delivered space in the region. The developer will build a distribution center with over 100 loading docks, and the entire investment will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. The complex will be completed in March 2022, in the western part of Poland, and thanks to its proximity to the S11 road and the A2 motorway, it will provide excellent connections with, among others, Germany, as well as the most important logistics hubs in the country.
Panattoni is starting the implementation of Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate in Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań with a target area of 65,000 sqm. Construction of the investment will start this summer, and its finalization is scheduled for March 2022. The complex, thanks to its location in the west of the country, will provide an excellent connection with the capital of Germany – Berlin, and will also strengthen the developer's position in the region.
„We have been operating in Poznań and the surrounding area since the beginning of the Polish branch of the company, and we plan to exceed one million sqm of delivered space this year. We have built a rich portfolio based on the trust of clients from various industries. In the last year alone, we have started, among others, two important projects for the e-commerce sector – over 105,000 sqm for DHL Supply Chain, to serve Zalando and 23,500 sqm for Ekol Poland, which conducts operations for the outdoor clothing manufacturer – Regatta. In addition, we have added another client from the food industry to our portfolio – the company OneDayMore. Work in the Poznań market is in full swing and it is not yet time for a break” – says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni.
Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate will be built in Tarnowo Podgórne - an attractive location by National Road 92, just 7 km from the Poznań West junction, connecting DK 92 with the S11 expressway. This will eventually reach Koszalin in the north, as well as Bydgoszcz and Katowice in the south. In addition, it will allow for a drive in approx. 15 minutes from Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate to the A2 motorway, connecting, among others, Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań and Berlin.
„By choosing this location, tenants receive not only convenient connections, but also an excellent climate for business thanks to its location in the industrial zone of Tarnowo Podgórne - in the vicinity of such companies as Lidl, Mondelez, or Imperial Tobacco. Over 5,000 business entities operate in the municipality itself, which confirms how good work for the development of the region has been done by the local authorities” - adds Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director at Panattoni.
Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate will be built in accordance with the highest standards of sustainable construction and will undergo BREEAM certification at the Excellent level, as one of the first in the region. The facility will be powered by energy from renewable sources and will become another step for Panattoni towards the ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2025. The buildings will use systems that reduce water, heat and energy consumption, as well as a number of solutions for user wellbeing – from appropriate acoustics and lighting of office areas, through green zones and relaxation zones, to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Panattoni Park Poznań West Gate will occupy 65,000 sqm and will include 126 loading docks, as well as nearly 220 parking spaces, including 13 for trucks. Tenants will also benefit from a spacious maneuvering area. The flexible design of the park's operational area will allow for the efficient operation of both small and medium-sized as well as larger enterprises, and the spaces will be perfect for, among others, logistics services, including the e-commerce industry. In addition, the facility will be prepared for tenants involved in light production.
