Panattoni to build Panattoni Park Zabrze II
Panattoni will build another warehouse and production park in Silesia – Panattoni Park Zabrze II. The 44,000 sqm investment will be built in Zabrze within the Katowice Special Economic Zone. The first client – Zarys International Group, a manufacturer and supplier of medical products, including to hospitals – has already leased 14,000 sqm in it.Construction of Panattoni Park Zabrze II will start in July of this year. The facility will have 44,000 sqm, of which 14,000 (including 600 sqm of office space) has already been taken by the first tenant – Zarys. It is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of medical products, mainly disposable equipment, serving hospitals and other medical facilities in the country. It is also a distributor for other recognized global manufacturers in the medical industry. Zarys will move into the park in February 2021, but will gain earlier access to the facility in December of this year.
„Our medical product warehouses are already the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. We are expanding them systematically because we also serve markets in countries neighboring Poland, such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Germany. Hence, the location of our new distribution center in Zabrze is crucial, because thanks to access to road infrastructure, we can quickly satisfy our growing exports” – says Paweł Ossowski, Vice President of the Management Board and Managing Director of ZARYS International Group.

This is due to easy access to major communication arteries such as the A1 and A2 motorways and airports in Katowice and Kraków. An additional advantage is that Panattoni Park Zabrze II will be located within the Katowice Special Economic Zone, which means many tax breaks for the investor. In 2019, this very zone was recognized in the FDI Business Financial Times ranking not only as the best economic zone in Europe but also the second in the world” – Aurelia Rachtan, Senior Development Manager at Panattoni.
Panattoni Park Zabrze II, which will be built on K. Goduli Street in Zabrze, will be certified under the BREEAM system at the „Very Good” level. The facility will also have a new look. In accordance with the latest standards implemented by Panattoni, the warehouse will have a new color scheme, glass-aluminum facades in the office section, and more greenery.
