Panattoni has completed the construction of nearly 40,000 sq m as part of City Logistics Warsaw IV in Annopol. Half of the space will be occupied by TRUMPF Huettinger in July of this year. The production facility will serve markets including the USA, Japan, Korea, and China.
Panattoni is approaching 2 million sq m of delivered space in the capital region, with a significant portion of the portfolio consisting of projects within the city limits. The developer has, among other things, completed the largest project to date in Warsaw itself: a complex of two halls – Panattoni Park City Logistics Warsaw IV in Annopol, which occupies 39,000 sq m.
One of the buildings has been entirely leased by TRUMPF Huettinger, which will begin using 19,200 sq m of production and warehouse space and 3,200 sq m of office space this July. The company specializes in the design and production of modern electronics for industrial applications. The company's solutions provide stable power for high-tech industry products. Thanks to this, the world's largest players, manufacturing items such as smartphones, televisions, cars, photovoltaic panels, or architectural glass, can develop their products. Within City Logistics Warsaw IV, TRUMPF Huettinger will conduct, among other things, the assembly of electronic circuits and other elements and components for broadly defined industrial electronics. Panattoni will, among other things, adapt the building for permanent work and ensure temperature maintenance in accordance with the client's requirements.
"For decades, Annopol was a hub and a very important industrial center, with production plants key to the region. In an era of striving for supply chain stabilization, which results in nearshoring—the relocation of production closer to the recipient—such locations are once again gaining importance. We are pleased that investments like City Logistics Warsaw IV allow us to build on the tradition of this place, creating excellent conditions for production processes, and thanks to their location within the city limits, they ensure very good access to qualified staff. Thanks to its presence in key locations of the Warsaw market, Panattoni was able to quickly offer space adapted to the needs and processes of TRUMPF Huettinger," says Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni. "The strategic location in the center of Europe and the proximity to Germany, where the headquarters of TRUMPF Huettinger is located, makes Poland the second largest market for the company's operations globally," he adds.
