Panattoni continues to enjoy the unwavering trust of financial institutions. The developer has secured financing of 67 million euros for the construction of Panattoni Park Poznań A2. The investment will be completed in October of this year, and the entire area of one of the two buildings – 82,000 sqm – will be leased by a clothing industry giant.
At the beginning of this year, Panattoni purchased nearly 35 hectares of land in Greater Poland – 7 km from the junction connecting the A2 motorway and the S11 expressway – and began the implementation of one of the largest investments in the region. Panattoni Park Poznań A2 is set to reach an area of 150,000 sqm across two buildings. Financing for the project was provided by PKO Bank Polski, which granted a construction and investment loan of 67 million euros.
„Panattoni once again confirms the immense level of trust from financial institutions. Banks recognize the growing potential of the industrial space market, the fastest-growing segment of the real estate industry. Also significant is the wide range of sustainable solutions that will be implemented in the facility, contributing to its very high standard” – says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.
„The project in Poznań is yet another Panattoni investment financed by PKO Bank Polski S.A. We appreciate the company's experience, professionalism, and scale of operations, and we are pleased with the further development of our partnership. The investment combines a very good location with the highest ESG standards, which will be confirmed by a BREEAM certificate, aligning with our strategy of financing „green” projects – says Agata Gola, Director of Commercial Real Estate Financing, Construction and Real Estate Financing Department at PKO Bank Polski
The 82,000 sqm facility has been entirely leased by a global clothing industry giant and will be a significant support for the company's growing e-commerce. The investment will create jobs for approximately 3,000 people. The building will be constructed without the use of PVC and will undergo environmental certification using the BREEAM method at least at the Excellent level. The developer will prepare, among other things, a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 700 MWp, a BMS and smart lighting system, and a rainwater harvesting system. Furthermore, employees will benefit from electric vehicle chargers, infrastructure for cyclists, a gym, and an outdoor terrace, a volleyball court, a boules court, and a central drinking water system in the office.
