Panattoni to exceed 200,000 sqm within the City Logistics segment in Warsaw

Panattoni is launching its second project in Warsaw's Targówek district this year. The company will deliver a project worth 8.5 million euros with an area of 17,615 sqm. City Logistics Warsaw VI is the developer's tenth urban investment in the capital.

The Warsaw region accounts for nearly 20 percent of the total volume of industrial space in the country, and the resources of urban facilities in the capital itself are regularly increasing. Panattoni has completed 5 City Logistics projects here and 3 City Logistics Airport projects in the vicinity of Chopin Airport. Recently, the developer started construction of City Logistics Warsaw IX in Targówek, and is now beginning the implementation of City Logistics Warsaw VI on Księżnej Anny street.

The new investment will allow tenants both efficient service of the capital's market thanks to a distance of only 7 km from the city center, as well as domestic or international operations using key pan-European transport corridors: E67 – connecting Helsinki with Warsaw or the corridor connecting Warsaw with Berlin.

- „Subsequent urban investments implemented in Warsaw confirm the particular attractiveness of this market for the City Logistics segment. In these facilities, not only warehouse or logistics spaces are being created, but also laboratories, R&D departments and technologically advanced production plants that need specialists in specific fields. Warsaw, as an important academic center with a quarter of a million students, has enormous potential in this respect” – says Karolina Przygoda, Associate Leasing Director (Region Warsaw City) at Panattoni.

The urban location will enable employees to reach the facility efficiently, among others, thanks to a bus stop located in the vicinity or two metro stations within a radius of 2.5 km. As part of the investment, Panattoni will build an internal access road, and will also implement a number of sustainable solutions in the field of user wellbeing, biodiversity or energy efficiency, which will allow for obtaining BREEAM environmental certification at the Excellent level. On the premises of the facility, the developer will use, among others, ornamental greenery.

Urban 660 thousand. Panattoni has already completed urban investments in Poland with a total area of approx. 560,000 sqm, and another 100,000 sqm remains under construction. The developer has implemented facilities from this segment in Warsaw, Poznań, Katowice, Wrocław, Kraków and Łódź. –„The Panattoni City Logistics concept was inaugurated just 6 years ago, and its rapid development confirms that we hit the bull's eye” – summarizes Marek Dobrzycki.
