Panattoni with a new project in Western Poland

Western Poland tailored to the client. Almost half of the facilities Panattoni is currently developing are in the BTS formula, and a large portion of them are being built in Western Poland. It is an extremely attractive region, especially for European e-commerce – the developer has completed space here for, among others, Amazon and will deliver huge logistics centers for Otto Group and Best Secret. Manufacturing companies also benefit from the excellent location of the Lubusz Voivodeship.

Panattoni Park Żary with a target area of 15,000 sqm will be built on a plot purchased in Żary. Nearly 8,000 sqm will be occupied by a leading European manufacturer and distributor of polyurethane foam. Within the Żary building, it will conduct, among other things, foam processing operations for the furniture industry. The company will relocate its operations here from one of its existing facilities. Thanks to the new class A space, it will also ensure appropriate comfort for employees and support its development in the region even more efficiently. The investment will undergo environmental certification using the BREEAM method at the Excellent level.

- Once again, a company operating in over a dozen European markets appreciates the Lubusz Voivodeship, which drives the development of Western Poland. The excellent location of Żary, close to the E36 road and the border with Germany, is an opportunity for foreign companies that can serve almost all of Europe from here. Interest in Western Poland is constantly growing, and we - by creating both BTS facilities and speculative space - remain flexible and ready to cooperate with every industry – says Maciej Zawada, BTS Development Senior Manager at Panattoni.

- We are also pleased with another fruitful cooperation with local authorities in the region, both at the commune, county, and city level. This is essential to fully utilize the attractiveness of the location and drive its further development - adds Marek Foryński, BTS Managing Director, Panattoni.

Panattoni Park Żary will be built just 30 minutes away from the border with Germany, near the European E36 road, connecting the Lubusz Voivodeship with Berlin. Furthermore, the park will be only 2 hours away from the border with the Czech Republic. The investment will be built in the Żary Commune Investment Zone, which makes it even more attractive to the client.

Panattoni drives the west of Poland. The developer is constantly expanding its portfolio in Western Poland. After such centers as Zielona Góra, Grodzisk Wielkopolski, Świebodzin, Bolesławiec, Iłowa, Sulechów or further north Szczecin and Stargard, this time the developer is building its first park in Żary. However, this is not the company's first investment in this area. In 2013, Panattoni delivered 10,800 sqm of production and warehouse space for a company specializing in the repair of electronic equipment. As part of the Żary investment, the client used, among other things, temperature regulation adapted to the product.
