Panattoni has received financial support for the development of the City Logistics Kraków III project, which is a response to the growing needs of the e-commerce sector. A loan of 21 million euros, granted by mBank, will enable the completion of the construction of a modern logistics park in the strategically located Nowa Huta, a district of Kraków.
„Space in urban parks is a key link in streamlining e-commerce operations, enabling efficient last-mile distribution of goods. This is extremely important in Kraków, a city with huge market potential and nearly 800,000 residents. The investment in City Logistics Kraków III is our response to the rapidly growing demand for logistics services optimized for e-commerce. According to Globaldata, the e-commerce market in Poland is expected to grow by 38% by 2027, reaching a value of over 24 billion euros”. - comments Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer, Panattoni.
The completion of the construction of City Logistics Kraków III, with an area of over 25,500 sq m, is planned for August 2024. The park will offer tenants not only a high ecological standard, but also technologically advanced solutions supporting operational efficiency and user wellbeing. The project, certified with the BREEAM method at the Excellent level, includes solutions for energy and water savings. It will be adapted to the needs of the e-commerce and light manufacturing industries.
The park is located in Nowa Huta near the DK 79, right next to the S7 expressway and close to its junction with the motorway. It also has excellent access to public transport (Pleszów tram and bus terminus).
