Panattoni, the most active industrial real estate developer in the world, has secured 10 million EUR in financing from Santander Bank Polska. The loan is intended for the construction of the second stage of City Logistics Warsaw Airport IV – an urban logistics park near the Warsaw airport.
– „Thanks to the financing obtained from Santander Bank Polska, we can carry out the next stage of our investment, located in the south of Warsaw – by the bypass and just 5 km from Chopin Airport. The excellent location makes City Logistics Warsaw Airport IV fit the needs of urban, national and international logistics” – says Emilia Taczewska-Trojańska, Head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni. – „The new stage of the investment has already gained its first tenant – it is a leading provider of internal logistics solutions, which will move its branch to a more modern building and a larger space than before”.
A new phase of the investment in a strategic location. City Logistics Warsaw Airport IV is being built right next to the Southern Warsaw Bypass, in the vicinity of major expressways – S2, S7, S79 and S8 – which ensures efficient connection both with the entire Warsaw agglomeration and with other regions of Poland.
The implemented stage covers approx. 11 500 sq m, of which 1 600 will be intended for office space. The project is distinguished by its flexibility – small modules are available, which is an optimal solution for companies from the e-commerce, courier services, light production or packaging industries. The facility also allows for the arrangement of space for a company headquarters or a showroom – here an additional advantage is the great exposure from the expressway.
Like all Panattoni projects, the investment will be in line with the principles of sustainable development and will be subject to BREEAM certification at the Excellent level. As part of the first stage, a hall with an area of over 10 000 sq m has already been built, fully leased by one of the leading logistics operators.
