The Hasco Group has started operations in a new distribution and logistics center in Stryków near Łódź. The investment, worth nearly PLN 80 million, is intended to streamline the distribution of pharmaceutical products and increase the operational capabilities of PCF Procefar, the company responsible for the logistics of Hasco-Lek products.

The new facility was built in one of the most important logistics locations in Poland – in the area of the Stryków junction, providing access to key transport routes.

Nearly PLN 80 million for the development of pharmaceutical logistics

The construction of the center began in early 2025 and was completed on schedule. The investment is one of the most important elements of the Hasco Group's long-term development strategy.

The new center is expected to allow for:

  • increasing the efficiency of logistics processes,
  • shortening delivery times,
  • improving the availability of pharmaceutical products,
  • further scaling of distribution activities.

Over 8,000 sqm of modern space

The facility offers a total of 8,300 sqm of space. Nearly 1,000 sqm has been allocated for operational needs, while warehouses occupy over 5,500 sqm.

The entire facility was designed in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements applicable in the pharmaceutical industry.

The first A-Frame system with PUMA technology in Poland

The most important element of the investment is the implementation of the first A-Frame system in Poland equipped with PUMA technology for the automatic picking of pharmaceutical orders.

The solution makes it possible to automatically:

  • pick orders,
  • control inventory levels,
  • monitor product batches,
  • manage the warehouse replenishment process.

The system has been integrated with „put-to-light” technology, which supports employees with light signals during order picking.

Automation combined with the WMS system

The entire infrastructure cooperates with an advanced warehouse management system (WMS), which is responsible for controlling the flow of goods and coordinating logistics processes.

As a result, the center can handle larger order volumes while increasing precision and reducing the risk of errors.

Stable conditions for pharmaceutical products

A number of solutions necessary for storing medicines and pharmaceutical products have been implemented in the facility.

The center is equipped with, among other things:

  • a BMS system for managing technical installations,
  • monitoring and access control,
  • a fire alarm system,
  • energy-saving LED lighting with the DALI system,
  • solutions maintaining appropriate temperature and humidity.

Harden Construction was responsible for the execution of the investment, while the implementation of automatic picking systems was prepared by ASTOR.

Stryków strengthens its position as Poland's logistics center

The launch of the new distribution center confirms the growing importance of Stryków as one of the most important logistics hubs in the country. The combination of a strategic location with modern automation will allow the Hasco Group to increase the scale of its operations and prepare its logistics facilities for the coming years of development.
