Pharmaceutical group Pelion at 7R Park Łódź West I

The Medezin production plant has launched at the 7R investment in Konstantynów Łódzki. This is the second brand belonging to the Pelion group, the largest healthcare sector company in Poland, to operate at 7R Park Łódź West I. The space for Medezin was created in a BTS formula and adapted to the specific needs of the pharmaceutical industry.

The developer prepared over 3,700 sqm of warehouse and industrial space for the pharmaceutical manufacturer Medezin, divided into a drug manufacturing facility and a warehouse. Additionally, the company occupies 450 sqm of office space located next to the production and storage area. The Medezin production plant launched near Łódź will supply medicinal products to other companies in the Pelion group. Its most well-known brands include Polska Grupa Farmaceutyczna, the DOZ pharmacy chain, and Natura drugstores.

"Łódź is a strategically important location for us. In the building designed in cooperation with 7R, we are launching a production plant where medicinal products will be manufactured in the scope of secondary packaging. These types of activities require meticulously maintained conditions in the rooms where they are created and stored. Thanks to close cooperation with the developer, we managed to create a space that meets our needs and will allow us to develop in the center of the country." - says Paweł Pyć, Project Manager at Medezin.

In the facility, temperature control is possible in the range from 15 to 25°C. Furthermore, a cold store with an aggregate has been installed for storing medicinal products in the temperature range from 2 to 8°C. Regularly, every hour, air exchange also takes place in the production area. The building uses "autodock" type loading platforms, whose task is to minimize temperature changes inside the warehouse during goods loading operations.

"Medezin is, after Pharmalink, Cefea and Marrodent, another company from the pharmaceutical industry that has entrusted us with adapting space to rigorous standards regarding the production and storage of medicines. In the production part of the hall, we applied, among other things, daylight illumination at a level of 12.5% and a highly resistant, resin epoxy floor. In turn, in the storage zone, we separated a special area for products requiring special precautions. We are pleased that 7R Park Łódź West I constitutes an attractive location both in terms of conducting production processes and the distribution of medicines." - says Maciej Krawiecki, Head of Leasing at 7R.

7R Park Łódź West I is a modern warehouse park with a total area of 32,000 sqm, consisting of two class A facilities, located at Inwestycyjna street in Konstantynów Łódzki. The proximity of the A1 and A2 motorways creates very good conditions for international, national, and local transport. The location right next to the newly built western S14 bypass guarantees access to appropriate infrastructure and good communication with the city, which makes it an attractive location for employees as well. Both buildings included in 7R Park Łódź West I, thanks to the ecological solutions applied that influence, among other things, an increase in energy efficiency, are covered by BREEAM certification.
