Piomar, a company dealing with goods transport and logistics, has moved into Panattoni Park Opole, occupying nearly 5,000 sqm of warehouse space. The park, with a target area of 38,500 sqm, is also an excellent location for companies that care about conducting operations in the urban zone, such as manufacturing, e-commerce, or last mile delivery.
Panattoni Park Opole is a new point on the map of warehouse space offered by Panattoni in the Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. The park will ultimately consist of two buildings with a total area of 38,500 sqm. It is being built within the city limits, right next to the A4 motorway - halfway between Katowice and Wrocław - which is also part of the international Dresden-Kyiv transport corridor.
The excellent location of the park was appreciated by another tenant - the company Piomar, which has just moved into the first completed building. The company deals with transport, including international, and warehouse logistics. As part of the warehouse space rented by the company - 4,950 sqm - in Opole, order picking and shipping operations for the food industry will be carried out. The fire resistance of the hall has been increased to a value above 4000MJ and adapted to meet HACCAP requirements. Due to the specific nature of storing fast-moving goods,, among other things, the separation of work zones in the facility was introduced.
The park in Opole is the first distribution center built by Panattoni in this region - until now, the developer has marked its presence with BTS facility projects.
„This is an ideal location for companies looking for an alternative to Katowice or Wrocław. The region is developing very well, and it also attracts with its excellently developed transport infrastructure and access to qualified human resources. In a city of less than 130,000, there are approx. 18,000 students. All this makes Opole one of the most promising emerging markets on the logistics map of Poland” – comments
Ewa Zawadzka, Development Director at Panattoni.Panattoni Park Opole consists of two buildings with a total area of 38,500 sqm. The first facility with an area of 8,700 sqm has already been built, while the second - currently under construction - will have 29,800 sqm. Thanks to the possibility of flexible module shaping (the smallest is 1,000 sqm), the park will meet the requirements of clients from various industries, especially tenants from the logistics sector and light manufacturing activities. Thanks to its location, it is suitable both for companies from the e-commerce sector and for clients who care about operations conducted within the reach of the urban zone (last mile delivery). The park has passed BREEAM certification at the „Very Good” level.
The advantage of the investment is undoubtedly its location, guaranteeing fast and efficient logistics. Panattoni Park Opole is located in the city of Opole on Partyzancka Street. Thanks to the A4 motorway, reaching the nearest international airports in Wrocław (approx. 100 km) and Katowice (approx. 110 km) takes about an hour. The park is 54 km from the Czech border and 240 km from the German border. It also has convenient access to public transport - bus stops are right next to it.
