Production and logistics facility for Vita Group ceremonially opened

Panattoni has completed and, on November 22nd of this year, ceremonially opened a BTS facility for Vita Group - an international manufacturer of polyurethane foam - as part of Panattoni Park Żary. The developer plans to expand the park by another 7,000 sqm, and the new space will be adapted to the specific nature of the future tenant's operations.

The Panattoni BTS division is developing rapidly: in the CEE region, it already has over 100 custom-built facilities completed – including a number of technologically advanced production plants. In Poland alone, the developer has delivered nearly 4 million sqm in the BTS and BTO formula – almost 30 percent of the space in the country. The Lubusz Voivodeship is a special region in this respect, where custom-made facilities account for nearly 60 percent of the total space delivered by Panattoni – 375,000 sqm out of approx. 630,000 sqm. This fantastic result has been improved by another investment. On November 22nd, the developer ceremonially opened a BTS facility as part of Panattoni Park Żary for Vita Group – an international manufacturer of polyurethane foam, which will use 8,000 sqm of space. The ceremony was attended by representatives of Vita Group - Wiesław Pacyna, General Manager, as well as Vita Group CEO Omar Hoek - and the developer – Maciej Zawada, BTS Development Director, Jacek Miedzialec, BTS Project Manager, and Jakub Jankowiak, BTS Technical Business Development Senior Manager.

- „The location of the Żary park turned out to be ideal for the international operations of Vita Group. Currently, the Lubusz Voivodeship is one of the most forward-looking locations not only in Poland but also in Europe, and European and global enterprises, of which there will be more and more here, need facilities tailored to their standards and processes. We believe that today's opening is an excellent foundation for the development of cooperation between Panattoni and Vita Group, especially since we are tailoring solutions across Poland and Europe” – summarized Maciej Zawada, BTS Development Director at Panattoni.

Another tenant will be able to take advantage of the park's huge potential, as Panattoni plans an expansion of 7,000 sqm in the BTS formula, which will allow the facility to be adapted to production, logistics, or warehouse processes.

Panattoni Park Żary is located just a 30-minute drive from the border with Germany, near the European road E36, connecting the Lubusz Voivodeship with Berlin. Access to the border with the Czech Republic takes two hours. The investment is being carried out in the Investment Zone of the Żary Municipality, which makes it even more attractive to the client.

- „The excellent location will work well for operations on a European scale. The potential is supported by business incentives from local authorities. Cooperation with offices at the municipal, district, and city levels fills us with optimism before the expansion of Panattoni Park Żary, and is also an important asset in the search for further tenants” – says Marek Foryński, Managing Director at Panattoni.

Work is in full swing in the BTS division. Panattoni BTS is carrying out investments all over Poland. In the last two months alone, the developer has started construction of plants for: Air Spiralo – a leading manufacturer of ventilation systems in Europe, and Maxcess - a global leader in innovative products and services for automated applications for production line handling. Furthermore, at the end of October in Rzeszów, the Panattoni BTS team officially opened a factory for Knorr-Bremse - a leading manufacturer of braking systems for rail and commercial vehicles. In the first half of the year, the division completed the sixth facility for K-Flex in Uniejów, and the entire production and warehouse complex has already exceeded 100,000 sqm. In June of this year, the company also finalized a facility for Action – an international chain of non-food discount stores – in Zakroczym with an area of 53,000 sqm, and in total, it has delivered over 110,000 sqm for the company. In the last

The BTS division has also completed, among others, a green factory for the Danfoss company, and the project itself was a finalist in the prestigious MIPIM Awards competition accompanying the largest event in the real estate industry. This is a unique project in terms of energy savings and sustainable solutions. A factory for an international giant in the RTV and household appliances industry is also under construction, and in the plans for the coming months, the BTS division has the implementation of a production plant for a global manufacturer in the lighting industry.
