The facility will have an area of 11,573 sqm and will be built at Prologis Park Ruda Śląska.
InPost will move into the DC3 building in September 2024.
Prologis Park Ruda Śląska is a logistics park built on a post-industrial site. Thanks to its location just 9 km from the center of Katowice, near the A4 motorway (Germany-Wrocław-Katowice-Kraków) and 10 km from the A1 motorway (Gdańsk-Katowice), it ensures efficient distribution of goods at the local, national, and international levels.
- Currently, customers can use over 22,000 Paczkomat® machines in Poland, and importantly, over 98 percent of shipments are delivered the very next day after dispatch. Such a huge scale of operations requires operational excellence and cooperation with professional partners – says Michał Wróbel, Director of the Courier Operations Division at InPost.
Currently, two buildings with a total area of 63,000 sqm are operating at Prologis Park Ruda Śląska. In the first stage of the investment, a BTS warehouse with an area of 52,000 sqm was built for Raben. In the second, a BTS warehouse with an area of 11,200 sqm for Kuehne+Nagel. Ultimately, warehouses with a total area of over 135,600 sqm may be built at Prologis Park Ruda Śląska.
