Raben Group has leased 7,560 sqm at Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport

The logistics operator is using 7,560 sqm of space, which features a range of solutions designed for specialized logistics operations as well as sustainable development concepts. Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport, with an area of over 100,000 sqm, is already 86 percent complete, bringing the developer closer to approximately 345,500 sqm of space delivered in the region.

The largest facilities attract leaders. The Raben Group is once again taking advantage of the strategic location of Panattoni parks – to date, the logistics operator has signed lease agreements with the developer for over 152,000 sqm! Now, Raben has leased 7,560 sqm at Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport – the developer's largest project in the Tricity. The specifics of the operator's activities within the leased space required personalized solutions. The company uses, among other things, lighting adapted to the planned layout of racks and a VAS (Value Added Service) zone, and constant temperature and humidity monitoring is carried out in the warehouse.

The complex also incorporates a number of sustainable development solutions as part of the ongoing BREEAM certification process at the Very Good level. In accordance with its own park specifications, Panattoni has provided glazed facades in the office sections, and green entrances with relaxation zones modeled on so-called pocket forests are in preparation. Small squares with eco-friendly urban furniture will be created, as well as bicycle infrastructure with covered bike racks. The vegetation on the park grounds will be adapted to local weather conditions, as will the "flower meadows" that do not require frequent mowing. The Raben Group will also benefit from intelligent energy management systems, including meters that allow for remote reading. Panattoni, as in its other investments, has prepared electric vehicle charging stations.

As emphasized by Maciej Stępień, Regional Director of Raben Logistics Polska: The Raben Group has been developing its operations in Pomerania for years. Acquiring new warehouse space – this time in Gdańsk – is a decision that underscores our presence and commitment to this region. It is also a response to the needs of customers who are interested in storage and warehouse handling of their goods relatively close to the port and airport, as well as the distribution of their goods both in Poland or Europe and globally (through sea and air freight services). It is worth mentioning that, apart from purely economic factors, Panattoni's partnership approach to the entire process played a significant role during the transaction.

Commenting on the next Tricity agreement, Martyna Sochaczewska, Senior Leasing Manager at Panattoni, said: We have been operating in the Tricity for 12 years, delivering approximately 345,500 sqm during this time. When we started, this region was just knocking on the door, and now it is one of the fastest-growing warehouse markets in Poland. Last year's demand for space here amounted to over 200,000 sqm, placing the region, along with the Lubusz Voivodeship, just behind the "big five". We are pleased that such an important area for the Polish economy is constantly growing and that we can actively participate in this development.

By leasing space at Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport, the Raben Group has gained a location with very high business potential in an attractive region. The Lech Wałęsa International Airport is just 8 km from the complex, and the Port of Gdańsk, which in January this year jumped onto the podium among Baltic ports by achieving a result of 4.6 million tons of cargo handling in the first month of the year – 8.8 percent more than in the same period a year earlier – is located 19 km from the park. Furthermore, numerous access roads run in close proximity to the complex, allowing for efficient transport within the region and the entire country. There is also a Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway station and a bus stop near the park, which allows employees to commute using Tricity public transport.

Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport is the developer's largest project within its own parks in Pomerania. Ultimately, the complex will reach nearly 107,000 sqm across five buildings, and over 97,000 sqm has already been leased. All facilities within the park are equipped with top-quality offices and warehouses as well as state-of-the-art goods storage solutions. The complex has been designed to allow tenants to flexibly shape their modules. Thanks to its excellent location, the investment perfectly fits into the concept of the so-called airport district, created by warehouses, office buildings, and a modern research and development center.
