A new Raben Real Estate Poland logistics center is being built in Sosnowiec. The complex at Inwestycyjna Street will offer nearly 13 thousand sq m of warehouse and office-social space. The facility will be equipped with, among others, photovoltaics and infrastructure for electric cars.

Over 11 thousand sq m of hall in Sosnowiec

The investment is being developed for the own use of Raben Real Estate Poland. The project includes a transshipment and warehouse hall with an area of 11,250 sq m and an office and social part measuring 1,700 sq m.

The general contractor for the investment is Harden Construction. Kabar is responsible for the design and execution of the installations necessary for the functioning of the complex.

The installation works are carried out in the „design and build” formula, which includes the preparation of technical solutions, their execution, commissioning, and bringing them to final acceptance.

Installations for the warehouse and office part

The scope of work includes the execution of electrical and teletechnical infrastructure for the entire facility.

The center is planned to include, among others:

  • power supply and energy distribution installations,
  • basic and emergency lighting,
  • lightning protection and grounding installations,
  • IT network,
  • CCTV monitoring cabling,
  • SMUP system.

The solutions will serve both the transshipment and warehouse hall, as well as the office and social facilities.

Photovoltaics and charging of electric cars

A photovoltaic installation is planned on the roof of the hall, which is to support the energy efficiency of the facility. However, its planned capacity has not been disclosed.

The project also includes the preparation of cabling for electric vehicle charging stations.

Outside the building, site lighting, power supply for accompanying facilities, elements of the entry system, and teletechnical ducting will be executed.

Installation works by the end of 2026

According to the schedule, the installation works are to be completed by the end of 2026.

This deadline applies to the scope carried out by Kabar and has not been indicated as the commissioning date for the entire logistics center.
