Spiżarnia to lease a building in 7R Park Lublin

Spiżarnia, a distributor of Polish food to Western European countries, has chosen 7R Park Lublin as the location for its new warehouse and offices. The company will occupy one of the five buildings of the planned logistics park. The facility for Spiżarnia, with an area of nearly 22,000 sqm, was built in a BTS formula and houses three modern cold stores. The building will be commissioned in December 2021.

The warehouse in the 7R Park Lublin complex, dedicated to Spiżarnia's operations, consists of warehouse space totaling nearly 19,600 sqm and office space occupying approximately 2,000 sqm. The 7R investment provides the tenant with conditions specific to the food industry, including in-rack sprinklers for oils, a special cooling system, and additional inflatable dock shelters. The completion date for the facility is scheduled for the end of 2021.

"The food industry is a demanding branch of the industry that requires rigorous storage conditions based on the safety and reliability of the cooling and ventilation installation, appropriate building construction and equipment, as well as maintaining sanitary and hygienic standards. Our main logistics center is located in Lublin. Food distribution is mainly determined by factors related to an effective, durable, and uninterrupted cold chain. Here, warehouse optimization in terms of storage conditions for goods and conducting logistics operations is what counts.

"Investing in Lublin, we knew it was a prospective market. The contract for the construction of the BTS facility with Spiżarnia was signed even before the start of the logistics park's implementation, which testifies to the trust the tenant places in us. It is also a confirmation for us of a good choice of location for this project. When planning the warehouse for Spiżarnia, we focused on optimal facility management. For the client's needs, we prepared three cold stores with different temperature ranges" - comments Maciej Krawiecki, Head of Leasing at 7R.

The 7R Park Lublin logistics complex will consist of five buildings with a total area of approximately 110,000 sqm located in the industrial part of the city. The location near the Lublin bypass provides access to the S12 and S19 expressways, and thus excellent road connections so important for the FMCG and TSL sectors. This is where the most important communication routes intersect and railway infrastructure is being expanded, which is the foundation of transport and allows for planning forwarding and transport operations throughout the country, as well as towards Eastern Europe. The investment is covered by BREEAM certification at the Very Good level.
