Sportano doubles its warehouse space in Zielona Góra. It will occupy the entire Panattoni park

The sports e-commerce brand is significantly increasing its logistics facilities in Zielona Góra. Sportano has signed a new agreement with Panattoni and Accolade, under which it is expanding its lease at Panattoni Park Zielona Góra II and occupying the entire 27,300 sqm building.

The expansion includes an additional 14,846 sqm, and with its finalization, the commercialization process of the entire park has been completed.

Dynamic e-commerce growth drives demand for warehouses

Sportano has been operating since 2021 and conducts online sales of sports equipment in over a dozen European countries. The company currently handles about 2 million orders annually, and its turnover reaches about 0.5 billion PLN.

Dynamic sales growth has made it necessary to increase logistics facilities. The expansion of warehouse space in Zielona Góra is intended to enable further business development both in Poland and on foreign markets.

Modern logistics center with robotization

The Sportano logistics center in Zielona Góra is one of the most technologically advanced facilities of this type in the region. The warehouse utilizes, among others:

• over 100 goods-to-person mobile robots,

• Pick to Light and Put to Light systems,

• an automatic sorter handling multiple carriers.

The expansion of the space will allow for the implementation of further solutions automating warehouse processes, including high-bay storage systems and very narrow aisles operated by specialized man-up trucks. This will increase the utilization of the hall's volume and the operational efficiency of the center.

Strategic location in western Poland

Panattoni Park Zielona Góra II is located near the Lubuski Industrial and Technological Park and the S3 expressway junction, which ensures fast connections to the domestic and foreign market.

Good road and logistics infrastructure makes the region an attractive location for companies in the e-commerce and logistics sectors.

Sportano's expansion shows how the role of modern industrial parks is changing. With the development of e-commerce, warehouses are becoming not only an operational facility but one of the most important elements of business infrastructure enabling business scaling.
