Stiegelmeyer to launch a warehouse at the GLP logistics centre in Toruń

Soon, modern hospital beds from the Stiegelmeyer brand will be distributed from the GLP centre in Łysomice near Toruń to healthcare facilities across Europe. The company's new warehouse will occupy over 3,600 sqm, along with an additional 200 sqm of office and social space.

The Stiegelmeyer Group is a manufacturer of high-quality beds and medical furniture for comprehensive, daily use in medicine. The company produces approximately 125,000 such beds annually, which are used in clinics, healthcare facilities, and home care. Its new warehouse is located a 20-minute drive from one of the four Stiegelmeyer production plants in Europe. 

"Our beds are produced, among other places, in nearby Grubno, which is why the GLP centre is an optimal solution, supporting the production process and the distribution of our products to European markets, as well as providing convenient access for employees. GLP Toruń Logistics Centre is located 10 km from the centre of Toruń, by national road 91, which provides easy access to the S10 expressway and the A1 motorway connecting the north and south of Poland. Two halls currently offer approximately 42,000 sqm of warehouse space. Depending on customer needs, the project can be expanded by an additional 28,000 sqm.

From Toruń, you can reach the largest Polish seaports in 1.5 hours. Thanks to the upgrades we are introducing, such as LED lighting, our buildings are also becoming increasingly energy-efficient” – comments Małgorzata Gaul, Business Development Manager at GLP.

In the facility where Stiegelmeyer has leased space, there is still 6,500 sqm of warehouse space available immediately. GLP Toruń Logistics Centre is located in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone.
