Sunrise Medical is the first tenant at MLP Gorzów
Sunrise Medical has leased 9,200 sqm of modern space at MLP Gorzów. Sunrise Medical has thus become the first tenant of the new logistics center. The new facility will be ready for use as early as February 2024. As planned, the investment will undergo BREEAM New Construction environmental certification at the Excellent level.
MLP Group has concluded its first lease agreement within the logistics center MLP Gorzów, which is being built from scratch. Sunrise Medical has ordered a total of 9,200 sqm of modern space. Of this, production and warehouse rooms will occupy 8,100 sqm. The tenant will also use a modern 3-story office equipped with an elevator and other amenities for people with disabilities, with a total area of 1,100 sqm. The handover of the contracted space is planned for the first quarter of 2024.
Sunrise Medical is a global leader in the development, design, production, and distribution of manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters, and both standard and custom seating and positioning systems.
The space leased to Sunrise Medical is located in a hall, the construction of which began in May of this year on a speculative basis, i.e., without previously concluded lease agreements. As part of this phase of the project, a facility will be built that will ultimately offer 20,000 sqm of modern warehouse space.

MLP Group is strongly committed to sustainable development as part of expanding its warehouse portfolio. This will also be the case for the construction of facilities at MLP Gorzów Wielkopolski. For the first hall under construction, the goal is to obtain the BREEAM New Construction environmental certificate at the Excellent level. The facility will be adapted to use green energy. As part of the project, heat pumps, electric car chargers, and bicycle racks will also be installed, among other things.
MLP Gorzów will be built on a plot of 11.7 hectares. Ultimately, it will offer a total of 53,300 sqm of warehouse and light production space. The logistics complex will be aimed primarily at tenants from the e-commerce, logistics, distribution, and light production sectors.
MLP Gorzów is located on the western side of Gorzów Wielkopolski. The park is located 9 km from the city center, in the immediate vicinity of the S3 expressway junction. A huge advantage for investors is also the proximity to the border with Germany, which is only 53 km away, and about 135 km to Berlin. The capital of the Lubusz Voivodeship is a city developing extremely intensively, with very well-developed infrastructure and a qualified workforce.
