Swedish leader with its first production center in Poland

A high-class warehouse with an area of 17,000 square meters is currently being built at Prologis Park Łódź, of which over 7,000 is a BTS designed specifically for Scanreco. The tailor-made space will be dedicated to the production that Scanreco specializes in - remote control solutions for specialized machinery, such as construction cranes, concrete pumps, or drilling platforms.

The demand for our products is constantly growing and we are continuously acquiring new customers. New customers mean more orders, which require efficient production and logistics infrastructure. That is why we chose the offer of Prologis – apart from modern buildings, the advantage is also the attractive location of the park in the geographical center of Europe and good access to qualified employees. The latest investment at Prologis Park Łódź is also good news for local communities. Thanks to the financial support granted within the Łódź Special Economic Zone, Scanreco plans to hire approximately 300 people.

Before starting the project, we familiarized ourselves in detail with the client's expectations and the nature of their business. Scanreco, like Prologis, attaches great importance to caring for the environment and employees. Therefore, we offered them a number of solutions that will allow for effectively minimizing the carbon footprint, while maintaining high operational efficiency and work comfort. Thanks to this cooperation, another project is being created at Prologis that definitely goes beyond the walls and roof of a production building - emphasized Piotr Lenczewski, Leasing & Customer Experience Manager Prologis.

The space designed for Scanreco will be powered by energy produced directly on the roof using 50kW photovoltaic panels. In addition to photovoltaics, green, certified energy from Tauron will also flow into the building, and energy-efficient lighting in the building will be provided by a top-quality LED installation.

The investment will be complemented by five electric vehicle charging stations, a rainwater recovery system, and a solar collector for heating water in social areas.

Scanreco has already taken care of future employees - in line with the Prologis PARKlife™ concept, an outdoor rest area with comfortable benches, tables, and a sail canopy will be created next to the building. 80 trees and 300 shrubs will be planted around it, which will make moments of relaxation even more pleasant.
