Panattoni has started construction of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz III with a planned area of 43,000 sqm. The first tenant is Reconext – a company providing repair services for electronic devices, which will occupy 12,800 sqm. The investment will be built in accordance with the requirements of the BREEAM certificate at the Very Good level and will additionally be equipped with a photovoltaic installation for the tenant's needs.
Bydgoszcz is moving forward. The developer has started the implementation of its third multi-tenant production and warehouse park in Bydgoszcz. The investment with a planned area of 43,000 sqm already has its first tenant - the Polish branch of the international company Reconext (a new name for Teleplan and Clover Wireless). The company is a leading provider of after-sales services in the field of electronic device repair, and the markets served by the company include consumer electronics, corporate networks and data storage, IoT, mobile equipment, and point-of-sale equipment. In Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz III, Reconext has leased 12,800 sqm, of which the operational area – service, testing, and warehousing will occupy 11,500 sqm, and office space 1,300 sqm. Already in January 2021, the tenant will move into the park, thanks to which it will be able to increase its capacity and expand its client portfolio.
The Bydgoszcz logistics center will be built in accordance with the developer's sustainable development concept „Go Earthwise with Panattoni” and will simultaneously fit into the DNA of the Reconext company. „Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainable development, and care for the environment are the essence of everything we do. In our 18 service centers around the world, by extending the life cycle of electronic products and components, we reduce unnecessary waste generation and carbon dioxide emissions as well as energy and material consumption. Reconext invests in green buildings and a better operational „CO2 footprint”. In Europe alone, we will invest in new ecological facilities in 2 locations”- comments Dorota Lemańska from Reconext.
„It is partly for this reason that the space dedicated to Reconext within Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz III will not only be fully adapted to the needs of the company's operations, but Panattoni will additionally equip it with a 300 kWp photovoltaic installation.” - adds Tomasz Śrama, Associate Director at Panattoni. The investment, like all newly emerging Panattoni parks, will be subject to BREEAM certification at the Very Good level, it will use the new Panattoni glazed facade standard, as well as numerous solutions reducing CO2 emissions or water consumption – the park will be equipped with stationary chargers for electric cars or specially designed green zones, the watering of which will be supported by a rainwater recovery system.
The location of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz III with an area of 43,000 sqm within a single building is at the city limits and only 5.5 km to its center and 8 km to the Bydgoszcz airport. The park will be located just 3 km from both the city bypass and national road No. 80, and 9 km from the junction with the S10 expressway. The central location of Bydgoszcz with access to an international airport and convenient communication with seaports in the Tricity and large economic centers, such as Berlin or Wrocław – these are important factors speaking in favor of this location in the perspective of further development of the service industry, including TSL, as well as production.
