Torus Logistics, in cooperation with BTV, has obtained a building permit for its latest project, Gdynia City Logistics. This modern warehouse and office facility, which offers innovative and sustainable solutions, is already under construction and will be commissioned in the third quarter of 2024.
The approved project involves the construction of a warehouse and office park with an area of 23,500 sq m. The warehouse is being built on ul. Północna in Gdynia, just 5 km from the Port of Gdynia and 9 km from the city center. The industrial and warehouse microlocation makes the facility suitable for many types of operations, including port-related services, inner-city logistics/last-mile logistics, and e-commerce. The planned Red Road and the Northern Bypass of the Tricity Agglomeration (OPAT) will provide a direct connection between the Port of Gdynia and the national road network, including the S6 expressway, enabling smooth deliveries within the Tricity and further across the country.
Torus Logistics and BTV are renowned companies that combine their experience and vision to create Gdynia City Logistics - a project that responds to the growing needs of the logistics market.
"We are consistently diversifying our development activities, and since the economic climate favors the logistics market, we are trying to take advantage of this. We have extensive experience from other warehouse and office investments, which will pay off here and be reflected, among other things, in the functionality of the facility or its certification. Gdynia City Logistics is characterized by an outstanding location, within the city, which – I am convinced – will quickly be confirmed by market interest." – says Sławomir Gajewski, President of Torus.
"Gdynia City Logistics is not only a modern logistics center, but also an expression of our commitment to creating innovative, sustainable solutions for a dynamically developing logistics market. As Development Manager, together with Torus Logistics, we strive to create a place that not only meets but even exceeds the expectations of our clients, ensuring them efficiency, savings, and environmental responsibility." – says Tomasz Puch, Co-founder, Managing Partner at BTV.
