Uniq Logistic to double leased space at MLP Group

Uniq Logistic is expanding in two locations from the MLP Group portfolio. Under the new agreements signed, the tenant has leased an additional 6,500 sqm at MLP Pruszków II, the vast majority of which will be warehouse space, with 145 sqm designated for offices. Meanwhile, at MLP Łódź, it will increase its utilized space by approximately 13,900 sqm. The handover of the new facilities in both locations is planned for January next year. As a result, the logistics company will have a total of nearly 44,000 sqm of modern space at its disposal.

In line with the MLP Group standard, the facilities will be tailored to the individual needs of the tenant. Modern solutions impacting environmental protection will also be applied, and the buildings will undergo the BREEAM certification process.

Uniq Logistic has been operating on the Polish market since 2008. The company achieves a competitive advantage by optimizing logistics processes, as well as adapting transport means and warehouse and transshipment areas to the specifics of a particular cargo. Utilizing knowledge, resources, and standards developed over the years, it conducts projects combining: road, sea, air transport, and comprehensive contract logistics. Currently, it operates within 7 branches located throughout Poland. It became a client of MLP Group in 2020.

- Our cooperation with Uniq Logistic is developing very dynamically. We concluded the first agreement regarding the lease of a facility in Pruszków less than two years ago. A few months later, the tenant decided to lease additional warehouse space and move into our second center in Łódź. Now it is increasing the utilized space in both these locations, almost doubling the scale of our cooperation. The great potential for the expansion of both these logistics centers allows for a close alignment of our offer with the current needs of the Client – said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland at MLP Group S.A.

Thanks to the new contract developed jointly with AXI IMMO and MLP Group S.A., the increase in leased space is another milestone in the dynamic development of Uniq Logistic. The new warehouse and operational space fits into our long-term strategy of building a competitive advantage through the provision of dedicated services within contract logistics. We are extremely pleased with the fruitful cooperation with our partners and look with optimism at the prospect of further ventures - comments Jarosław Płusa, President of the Management Board at UNIQ LOGISTIC SP. Z O.O. SP. J.

MLP Pruszków II is a modern logistics center located in the vicinity of Warsaw, in the Brwinów municipality, 5 km from Pruszków. It is the largest complex in the region, with a target leasable area of 393,000 sqm. Thanks to a flexible approach to the individual needs of tenants, the center is able to meet the requirements of clients from various industries. MLP Pruszków II has well-developed communication links both with the center of Warsaw and with the main arteries connecting the capital with other cities. The park is located between local road no. 760 and a section of the A2 motorway, 3 km from the transport hub located in the Pruszków-Żbików area. International railway lines run nearby, which enable excellent logistics conditions for both domestic and international distribution.

Meanwhile, MLP Łódź is a modern logistics and distribution center located in the south-eastern part of Łódź, in the Widzew district, (in close proximity) just 4 km from the A1 motorway, connecting Łódź with the Tri-City, and approx. 20 km (10 min) from the A2 motorway (Berlin-Poznań-Warsaw). A major advantage is the proximity of public transport. It is being built on a plot of approx. 16.5 ha and will ultimately provide 83,100 sqm. The new center is being built in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, and the warehouse facilities will undergo BREEAM certification. The MLP Łódź logistics complex is aimed primarily at tenants from the e-commerce, logistics, distribution, and light production sectors.
