3LP, a dynamically growing logistics operator headquartered in Siechnice, Lower Silesia, and specializing in automated logistics outsourcing for e-commerce entities, is opening its next location in Syców, covering an area of over 17,000 sqm.
Lower Silesia is one of the fastest-growing regions and an important point on the country's logistics map, and the 3LP warehouse in Syców on Szosa Kępińska Street offers not only efficient access to the Wrocław metropolitan area but also proximity to the A4 motorway and the S-8 expressway, which is its undeniable transport advantage.
- Comprehensive logistics solutions for increasingly demanding e-commerce businesses from various industries require the provision of Class A warehouses that ensure the highest level of service quality, process flow safety, and the use of modern technologies and automation to maintain supply chain continuity. The post-pandemic change in consumer habits has caused significant growth in e-commerce, which has realistically influenced logistics operations and thus the prioritization in selecting warehouse locations. Syców, due to its location in the vicinity of the so-called "furniture hub," along the S8 route with high capacity, the planned restoration of rail traffic for residents commuting to work, and clear spatial development plans, was the best possible choice for one of the 3LP warehouse locations - explains Maciej Posadzy, President of the Management Board of 3LP.
The 3LP warehouse in the Hillwood Syców logistics park offers over 17,000 sqm of space with a height of 12 meters and 2,000 sqm of external storage yard, equipped with 18 loading docks featuring hydraulic dock levelers, which allows for more efficient use of storage space and increased warehouse throughput.
The entire facility is covered by 24-hour monitoring and security. Inside the facility, at the start of providing comprehensive logistics services, 11,500 pallet spaces have already been provided, adapted for storing goods on EUR pallets weighing up to 700 kg, as well as 7,500 sqm of space without racks for storing non-standard pallets and 1,100 shelf spaces for small goods.
The facility uses the latest technological and ecological solutions that contribute to, among other things, increased energy efficiency, such as LED lighting, an intelligent energy management system, and its surroundings consist of a flower meadow and plants that do not require mowing.
- Thanks to investments by logistics operators, we can more effectively respond to the needs of our residents, for whom, in addition to housing conditions, new and attractive jobs are equally important. In this regard, the presence of investors from the logistics sector is particularly important, as they act as experts and are ready to share their knowledge, raising employee qualifications, and also offer support in implementing logistics solutions that shape our current reality. The new headquarters of the logistics operator 3LP is extremely valuable to us because, as I am deeply convinced, it will result in new jobs and will contribute to building further business relationships - says Dariusz Maniak, Mayor of the City and Municipality of Syców.
3LP focuses on local recruitment
By opening a warehouse in Syców, 3LP is directing its offer and inviting business partners to cooperate in fulfillment and wants to build a warehouse team of several dozen employees in a short time, consisting largely of warehouse workers, forklift operators, maintenance staff, and facility administration. A simplified recruitment process has started, within which employees from the municipalities of Syców, Oleśnica, Międzybórz, and Perzów are being recruited. As part of the implemented recruitment plan, 3LP is establishing cooperation with city authorities, labor offices, and the education sector to be able to offer not only friendly working conditions but also development opportunities for employees.
- The 3LP investment will allow for the creation of more jobs in Syców, and cooperation with the local government will also bring new opportunities for people interested in changing their industry to logistics or local relocation. We are convinced that the recruitment conducted among the municipality's residents will also contribute to their greater commitment to the development of our business. Our experience shows that cooperation with the local community positively influences mutual benefits; on one hand, it raises the quality of services we provide, and on the other hand, it increases the level of employee satisfaction, which we observe in the form of a low employee retention rate - adds Damian Krzympiec, Operations Director at 3LP.
The multi-client 3LP warehouse will provide comprehensive logistics services for the e-commerce industry, in particular for the furniture, automotive, and cleaning industries. The fulfillment services provided will include goods receipt, storage, timely shipments, handling of returns and complaints, and additional services such as repacking or creating sets. The service also includes the delivery of goods to customers using leading courier and transport companies. In the warehouse in Syców, the company will currently serve 7 business partners, and further commercialization of the facility is planned. The warehouse capacity allows for the installation of an additional 10,000 pallet spaces, which will also translate into an increase in the number of employed workers.
