7R is starting the development of a new BTS facility in Bydgoszcz for a European e-commerce logistics operator. The parcel sorting facility with an area of 9.7 thousand sqm will be built within 7R Park Bydgoszcz I, and its completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
9.7 thousand sqm for parcel sorting
The new building will be prepared for the tenant's specific operational processes and will serve as a modern parcel sorting facility.
The project is being developed in the BTS formula, which means that its layout, installations, and technological solutions will be tailored to the needs of the future user.
This is another joint project between 7R and this operator. The developer has already delivered a total of approximately 44 thousand sqm of space for the company in five locations.
Expansion of 7R Park Bydgoszcz I
The sorting facility will be built as the next stage of 7R Park Bydgoszcz I.
Within the complex, the first stage with an area of 16,505 sqm was previously completed and commissioned in June 2022.
In addition to the currently developed BTS, the park also has the potential for further expansion by approximately 22 thousand sqm of warehouse space in a speculative formula.
Energy storage and chargers for electric vehicles
The new facility will be equipped with solutions supporting energy efficiency and the business continuity of logistics operations.
The project includes, among others:
- energy storage,
- power generator,
- chargers for electric vehicles,
- heat pumps,
- an additional gas installation creating a dual heating system.
The solutions are intended to reduce the risk of downtime and enable more efficient management of energy consumption.
7R Park Bydgoszcz I with BREEAM Excellent
The complex is a Class A logistics and warehouse park designed for companies from the logistics, e-commerce, distribution, and light manufacturing sectors.
The project holds a BREEAM certificate at the Excellent level.
The flexible layout of the space allows individual modules to be adapted to both the scale of the tenants' operations and the specifics of their operational processes.
Close to S5 and S10
7R Park Bydgoszcz I is located less than 6 km from the center of Bydgoszcz.
The location provides access to the S10 expressway, connecting Bydgoszcz with Toruń and Szczecin, among others, and to the S5 route leading towards Poznań, Wrocław, and Tricity.
The facility is also located less than 7 km from the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Airport and at a similar distance from the Bydgoszcz Główna station.
