Panattoni has completed construction and handed over a modern production and logistics facility to Valmet Automotive – a supplier of roof and kinematic systems for the automotive industry.
– In the era of electromobility, aerodynamic components are becoming a real game-changer. In Żary, we are already developing and implementing technologies for mass production that will shape the future of the automotive industry – says Remigiusz Grześkowiak, Senior Vice President at Valmet Automotive. – This investment is an important step in our European expansion. Our factory is moving to a higher level – we will significantly increase production capacity and create 350 new jobs, contributing to the development of the local economy – he adds.
The new hall was designed with maximum flexibility in mind – its layout allows for easy adaptation of production and logistics space to the evolving needs of the tenant. The investment will undergo an environmental certification process under the BREEAM system at the Excellent level, which confirms high standards in terms of sustainable development.
– The realization of this investment is the result of close cooperation between Valmet Automotive and the BTS department of Panattoni. The developer understood our needs and adapted the project to the company's specific requirements, but also efficiently carried out the entire expansion process while the factory was operational. Thanks to this, we were able to maintain operational continuity while preparing for the next stage of development. The new hall gives us the opportunity to increase our scale of operations and further strengthen the position of the plant in Żary within the structures of Valmet Automotive – says Patryk Rudkiewicz, Plant Manager at Valmet Automotive.
The expansion of the Valmet Automotive factory also shows the growing role of medium-sized cities in the processes of industrial transformation and development.
