Galvion has leased approximately 3,600 sqm of space at 7R City Park Gdańsk Airport I, which will house not only a production and assembly hall for combat helmets, but also facilities responsible for service, support, modernization, and training.
- We expect that by 2025, the demand for our ballistic helmets in NATO and European countries will reach 1.5 million units. Galvion is committed to delivering value to its global partners and programs, with an emphasis on responsible regional operations. By expanding our operations to the European continent, we will be able to increase deliveries and support customers around the world more quickly. After a long search for a suitable location, we chose Poland and the Gdańsk area. We look forward to starting operations in this region and increasing our capabilities in the future. We thank the 7R team for their partnership in this extraordinary project. – says Jonathan Blanshay, founder and CEO of Galvion.
7R City Park Gdańsk Airport I consists of three halls with a total area of 40,500 sqm, equipped with ecological and innovative solutions that are environmentally friendly and ensure high work comfort, as confirmed by the BREEAM Very Good certificate. The project includes, among other things, a 250 kWp photovoltaic installation with expansion potential, top-quality wall thermal insulation, and daylighting supplemented by LED lamps. The park is located in an attractive location - just 800 meters from the S6 route exit, 13 km from the center of Gdańsk, 4 km from the Lech Wałęsa Airport, and 25 km from the port in Gdynia.
- 7R specializes in building high-quality warehouses, but also production halls tailored to the needs and specifics of our clients' operations. The growing importance of Poland as a European production hub has increased the demand for modern industrial facilities such as 7R City Park Gdańsk Airport I. This is an example of a perfectly located park – with easy access to the Tri-City and Baltic ports, which combines warehouse and production functions, and also has office facilities. - comments Marzena Taube, Leasing Director at 7R.
7R City Park Gdańsk Airport I has been 80 percent commercialized. The last available module remains for lease, consisting of 7,500 sqm of warehouse space and 280 sqm of office space. The general contractor for the investment is Pekabex.
